Emperors are very greedy for power, power is the driving force for emperors to compete for the throne, and in the later period of power, power often becomes the unbreakable pursuit of these emperors. For the Qianlong Emperor, he was already luckier than most emperors, because he reigned for a very long time after he ascended the throne, and if it were not for his respect for the Kangxi Emperor, he might have sat on the emperor's throne and would not have let the Jiaqing Emperor succeed to the throne. However, even if the Jiaqing Emperor ascended the throne, the Qianlong Emperor still controlled the regime behind his back, and the Jiaqing Emperor at that time should only be regarded as learning, not really ruling.

However, in any case, the Jiaqing Emperor was very lucky, after all, he had not experienced such a tragic process as the seizure of the Ninth Son, nor had he been attacked, and his throne seemed to be as if it had been arranged in the dark, and it took no effort at all, but it was precisely for this reason that the Jiaqing Emperor did not have the deep mind of the Yongzheng Emperor. The Yongzheng Emperor often behaved in a calm manner, and no one could guess his thoughts, but the Jiaqing Emperor was not such an emperor, as can be seen from his later behavior of often "breaking the news", at least the Jiaqing Emperor's ruling mind was not as meticulous as Kangxi Yongzheng's, but it was also cute.
So let's take a look at how the Jiaqing Emperor pit his father. During the overthrow of Heyan, the Jiaqing Emperor cited the example of Yongzheng punishing Nian Qianyao, and also talked about Kangxi's killing of Aobai. We all know the beginning and end of Kangxi's killing of Aobai and the main reasons, but for the Qing court, it is not directly stated that the matter of killing the hero will not be explained. Therefore, what is recorded in the later Qing history is that after Kangxi captured Aobai, because he remembered that he had contributed to the imperial court, he did not kill him, but put him in prison. The main reason for this is to show that the Qing Dynasty will not poison the heroes, and the heroes who have meritorious service to the imperial court will be netted. Later, Yongzheng's approach was also consistent with Kangxi's approach, and Yongzheng understood Kangxi's intentions, so he promoted Aobai's descendants, so that all the courtiers would recognize the kindness of daqing to the heroes, so that they could fight for the qing.
However, this sentence of the Jiaqing Emperor made what Kangxi and Yongzheng had done before meaningless, and it was immediately clear that Aobai was killed by Kangxi. In any case, the Jiaqing Emperor told the truth, and it can also be seen from it that the Jiaqing Emperor was different from the previous Qing Emperors in terms of governing the country, starting from the Jiaqing Emperor, there was no longer a literal prison, from which it can be seen that the Jiaqing Emperor adopted a relaxed political strategy, and thus avoided all kinds of unjust cases caused by the literal prison.
