The article recounts the true story of the anti-"sweeping" struggle more than 1 month ago, 5 soldiers of the Eighth Route Army led the nearly 3,000-day puppet army to the main peak of Wolf's Tooth Mountain, the chessboard, after eliminating more than a hundred enemies, the soldiers smashed the weapons in their hands and jumped off the cliff.
Newspapers have also faced a life-or-death decision
Just as the five heroes of Wolf's Tooth Mountain chose to lead the enemy to the top of the mountain at the fork in the road and continued to fight. The Jin-Cha-Ji Ribao newspaper, which is the organ newspaper of the Jin-Cha-Ji Border Region, received a notice of transfer as early as the day when the Japanese Kou went out. However, in the face of the tense situation of the enemy's large troops pressing the border, all the comrades of the newspaper chose to stay and continue to publish newspapers to encourage the enthusiasm of the soldiers and people in the border areas for struggle.
The final transfer was postponed for 10 days, and the newspaper was issued for 10 consecutive issues, until the enemy was less than 10 kilometers away from the newspaper, and the newspaper personnel stopped printing the newspaper and retreated in a hurry. However, the originally planned retreat route was cut off by the Japanese Kou to the north, and everyone had to break into pieces, bury the equipment on the spot, and disperse the breakthrough, but even on the way to the scattered breakthrough, each person still carried a bag of manuscripts.
Seven in and seven out under the eyes of the enemy
A few days later, the newspaper staff who were able to survive regrouped in a small village called The Village of Huazijian, with only two or three families, and managed to dig out the machine to continue printing newspapers. It was less than 5 kilometers from the nearest enemy stronghold, but the newspaper office persisted under the cover of the masses, and as soon as the enemy moved, the local people sent a signal, and everyone buried the machine and moved to the mountains; when it was safe, the machine was dug up and continued to work.
What the enemy did not expect was that under their eyes, the Jin-Cha-Ji Daily newspaper insisted for 25 days and published 23 issues of lead-printed newspapers. But during this period, it was indeed dangerous, and only the printing press was buried 7 times and dug out 7 times, which was laughed at by everyone as "seven in and seven out". That is, when the newspaper company was hidden in the village of Huazijian, it was the time when the battle on the Wolf's Tooth Mountain was at its most intense.
The manuscript has been hard from the interview to the newspaper
Although the newspaper was in a critical situation, it still sent special correspondents to various parts of the border area. Shen Zhong, the author of "The Five "Divine Soldiers" on the Chessboard, was a special correspondent of the Jin-Cha-Ji Daily in Yi County at that time. When he learned of the deeds of the five heroes of Wolf's Tooth Mountain, he immediately went to the interview, and the warrior from Fudan University in Shanghai experienced bumps in the mountain road, and it was October 19 when he completed the manuscript.
Subsequently, the manuscript was carried by the traffic officer in his arms, walked through the Japanese occupation of Wanxian County, Tang County, Quyang County, Xingtang County, Lingshou County and other places, after 230 kilometers and finally sent to the Pingding County Newspaper Station, when the manuscript was officially released it was already November 5, a full 40 days have passed since the five heroes jumped off the cliff, but this was not easy in the harsh war environment at that time.
