The reporter learned that the main body of new energy vehicles going to the countryside is new energy vehicle manufacturers, and a total of 68 new energy vehicles from 17 enterprises such as BYD, Kaiyi Automobile, Chery New Energy Vehicle, Geely and so on participated in the Yibin Station activity, which greatly enriched consumers' model choices on the basis of ensuring the quality of supply, and effectively benefited the majority of county and rural consumers.

Xu Haidong, deputy chief engineer of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that since its launch in the second half of last year, the cumulative sales of new energy vehicles going to the countryside have exceeded 200,000. "According to incomplete statistics, from January to November this year, the cumulative sales of models going to the countryside were 927,000 units, an increase of 1.9 times over the same period." Fu Bingfeng, executive vice president and secretary general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that this has made positive contributions to stabilizing and expanding automobile consumption and improving rural travel conditions.

In recent years, Yibin City has seized the opportunity of Ningde Times to build a world-class power battery industry base with an annual production capacity of 200GWh in Yide, and has signed more than 50 power battery and vehicle supporting enterprises, accelerating the high-quality development of the new energy automobile industry and effectively promoting the rapid development of Sichuan's green and low-carbon advantageous industries. In October, Yibin became the only city in Sichuan Province to be included in the 11 pilot applications of new energy vehicles in Sichuan Province by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The relevant person in charge of the Yibin Municipal Party Committee said that the choice of this event to be held in Yibin is not only a support and affirmation for Yibin, but also a spur and encouragement. The next step will be to take this activity as an opportunity to actively guide rural residents to green and low-carbon travel, better promote the promotion and application of new energy vehicles, and help the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the new energy automobile industry.

On the day of the launching ceremony, the No. 1 substation and electric heavy truck operation ceremony of Yibin Sanjiang New Area and the annual summary meeting of the new energy vehicle going to the countryside were also held. From December 24th to 26th, Yibin International Convention and Exhibition Center Hall 2 will hold a new energy vehicle exhibition and carry out test ride activities at the same time.
