The second batch of Heilongjiang Province intangible cultural heritage education bases and research bases list recently announced, Northeast Forestry University and other 52 units were selected as provincial intangible cultural heritage education bases, Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and other 16 units were selected as provincial intangible cultural heritage research bases. In both categories, Black River College was on the list.
The second batch of heilongjiang provincial intangible cultural heritage education bases and research bases carried out by the Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism was launched in June this year. The activities aim to better play the positive role of all types of schools and research institutions at all levels in our province in the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, fully explore and rationally utilize excellent intangible cultural heritage resources, actively expand the channels for all sectors of society to participate in the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, and improve the level of theoretical research on intangible cultural heritage protection in our province.
The selection activities were recommended and declared by various localities, and the procedures such as review, expert review, and publicity were strictly performed, and 52 provincial intangible cultural heritage education bases and 16 provincial intangible cultural heritage research bases were finally determined.
