At the end of the twentieth century, there was a war between China and Vietnam. The reason for the outbreak is that Vietnam has repeatedly provoked our country with the support of the Soviet Union.

This battle was the largest and most casualty battle in the war of self-defense. Its commander-in-chief is the famous Xu Shiyou. After receiving the order of the organization to capture Langshan within a week, Xu Shiyou actively prepared for the battle with the soldiers.

Because this war is a battle to show the prestige of our country, it must have a certain deterrent effect, of course, to fight the enemy's painful place. Lang Son is an important place in Vietnam, and there is even a widely recited sentence: "Descend on Lang Shan and cross the king to descend."
At that time, Xu Shiyou was already an old man in his 70s, so why did he want to be the main general? At that time, China was not rich, and our armaments were relatively old. Unlike the lack of logistics and personnel in our country, the Vietnamese army was experienced in hundreds of battles, advanced in weapons, and eager to win the battle.
And Xu Shiyou came in handy at this time, he was particularly good at surprises, there was no routine, so he would make the other party scratch his head. For the Vietnamese army, which is eager to succeed, it can be very difficult to hit.
In the Battle of Langshan, Xu Shiyou lived up to expectations and led the army to victory. Adopting the tactic of concentrated destruction, the Vietnamese army laid mines in Lang Son, and our army fought a road with blood. Later, large armies attacked en masse, and in a day's battle, most of the Vietnamese defenders were annihilated.
Because of the heavy casualties, the Vietnamese army was very anxious. We have even disregarded international conventions and used chemical weapons, and our army has suffered huge casualties; fortunately, our army has prepared gas masks to avoid larger casualties. Preventing problems before they happen is the most important task in war.
Xu Shiyou was very angry at this immoral behavior of the Vietnamese army, so he ordered a dead attack on Lang Shan and left no grass behind. Those Vietnamese troops with chemical weapons saw that our army was so powerful, and they retreated. Xu Shiyou ordered our army to take advantage of the victory to pursue, and the Vietnamese army fled to the cave, so we changed to fire attack, and finally won a complete victory and returned triumphantly.
