1. One day in advance, wash the glutinous rice and soak it. If the weather is very hot, it is best to put it in the refrigerator and soak it in the refrigerator.
2, whether it is long glutinous rice or round glutinous rice, it is OK, see if you like it. The next day, the soaked glutinous rice can be steamed in a pot or cooked in a rice cooker, remember to add the right amount of water, the amount of water is not more than a finger or so.
3: When steaming glutinous rice, stir-fry the filling. Both of my fillings were prepared and frozen in advance. Taro puree is made by yourself, and lotus paste is the mooncake filling you bought. The fillings are relatively hard, so you have to deal with it, add the right amount of water and lard, and fry it in a non-stick pan until it is relatively soft.
4, I prepared a lot of dried fruit preserves ~ basically take out what is in the family haha. If the dried fruit preserves are relatively hard, soak in hot water to soften it, so that it is better to put the bottom of the bowl shape.
5, glutinous rice steamed, while hot added a large spoonful of lard and sugar mix well (can also be brown sugar), if you think the filling is sweeter, sugar can be put less.
6, I make small bowls, the kind of bowls for eating, so 300 grams of white glutinous rice is probably made into 3 bowls. To use this relatively round and deep bowl, the upside down buckle is round enough to look good!
7, the bottom of the bowl brush a layer of lard, this can be upside down out. Then play your artistic talents! Put the dried fruit preserves into it~
8: Start filling with glutinous rice and stuffing. A circle of glutinous rice, the middle of the empty out of the filling, I put both together, this taste is richer, not to mention the two kinds of stuffing flavor is quite integrated! Finally, a layer of glutinous rice is laid to fill in.
9. Before adding the filling, I also added winter melon sugar to some bowls. Feel free to put some other dried fruit preserves as a sandwich, and it is full of surprises to eat ~ get it on the pot and steam for 30 minutes.
