The Long Three B Rocket belongs to the "Gold Medal Rocket" Long Three A series and is also an old rocket. Jiang Wei joined the aerospace team in 1997 and, like many young people, was attracted by the mysterious atmosphere of aerospace. After more than a decade in the assembly plant, in 2012 he was transferred to the long three B rocket final assembly dispatch. However, job changes have not changed the intensity of work. In recent years, under the situation of high-density launches, overtime has become the norm.
"In fact, overtime is fine, but I can't always take care of my family, and I feel very guilty." When it comes to overtime, Jiang Wei did not complain about how tired he was at work, but only expressed regret and guilt for not participating enough in various things in the family. He said his parents and wife were very supportive and understanding of his work, which made him feel guilty and moved.
"Although I am very tired, but I never wanted to leave the space, for a long time more familiar, have feelings is on the one hand, in recent years, the recognition of the country and the people of the space has brought us a sense of honor, but also let me not go." Jiang Wei said.
There are countless astronauts like Jiang Wei, who have walked through the Gobi Desert, or survived countless all-nighters, seen the stars hanging in the wilderness, and are not surprised by the lights of the laboratory day and night. The space system is huge, the hundreds of people at the launch site are just a drop in the ocean, and not everyone will go to the scene to see it when it is launched.
