Zhuangzi represents the Chinese's pursuit of spiritual freedom for 2,000 years, and Tao Yuanming and Su Shi are deeply influenced by it.
People who live a transparent and comfortable life have read the wisdom of life in "Zhuangzi".
Mr. Wen Yiduo said:
"Chinese culture will always bear the brand of Zhuangzi."
Zhuangzi is best at storytelling, and he gives people an enlightened epiphany in interesting stories.
There is too much wisdom in Zhuangzi.
Some people say that everyone has a Zhuangzi in their hearts, and there is no problem that Zhuangzi cannot solve. As long as you understand what Zhuangzi is saying, any problem in life can be solved.
When people reach middle age, they feel that life is getting heavier and heavier.
When we are bound by too many things and trapped in the quagmire of exhaustion, we may wish to read Zhuangzi.
Clear up distractions and focus on what matters most
Zhuangzi tells the story of a carpenter in the "Da Sheng" chapter:
This carpenter, named Ziqing, excelled at making a musical instrument and carving delicate patterns into it.
After each time it was done, everyone was amazed and thought it was a miracle.
When King Lu heard of his fame, he summoned him to the palace and asked him how he made it.
Ziqing said that I don't have any skills, but when making instruments, I am never distracted.
Before making, fast and meditate.
Fast for three days, no longer considering the utilitarian benefits that come with success; fasting for five days, no longer considering the criticism of the people after failure; fasting for seven days, completely forgetting yourself.
After eliminating all the interference from the outside world, we enter the mountains and forests to select materials, until the complete instrument has been confident, and then start to make it until it is completed.
Ziqing talked about his own production, seemingly understated, but said the secret of ingenuity: never distracted by doing one thing.
Before the ziqing in the story was made, he first cleaned up the distractions in his heart, neither hoping for rewards nor fearing punishment.
He forgot fame and fortune and kept his heart pure, so he made such a clever instrument.
Li Ziqi's early video creativity is more than enough, but the quality is average, in order to make high-quality videos, she once went to consult the beauty of the video production master, worship him as a teacher;
I went to Lanzhou to learn the ramen craft for a month; I also learned seal carving for more than three months, and a video can be repeated many times until I am satisfied.
At that time, she was undistracted, did not deliberately cater to the audience, did not worry about the slow update of the video, and only focused on making the best quality content.
Many people can't do things, and what hinders them may not be intelligence, not cultivation and learning, but mentality.
There are too many distractions to devote themselves to.
When encountering difficulties, many people are afraid to do the battle of the trapped beasts, unable to find the direction, and their hearts are anxious. I don't have the courage to open up new areas, and I can't hold my breath when I have a new beginning, and I can't stand loneliness.
There is a saying in the Huainan Zi: "Many people desire to lose righteousness, and many worries and harm wisdom." ”
No matter what we do, we need to first abandon impetuosity and not pursue short-term benefits.
Instead of being confused, it is better to focus on one thing and then do it to the extreme, and success is a matter of course.
Clean up relationships and leave the most important people behind
"Zhuangzi Grand Master" tells this story:
The spring dried up, and the two fish were trapped on land, spitting out their own saliva to wet each other.
Instead of working so hard, it is better to swim back to the rivers and lakes when the lake is full, and forget each other.
This story tells: it is better to be in love with each other than to forget each other.
Zhuangzi's wife died, and his friend Keiko went to mourn, but saw Zhuangzi squatting on the ground, banging on the basin and singing. Keiko said:
"Husband and wife, she bore children for you, and now that she is dead, you don't cry, but you knock on the pot and sing, isn't it too much?"
Zhuangzi said that people originally had no life, and now they have no life, naturally so why should they be sad? Otherwise, it is not accessible to the way of life.
Some people can't stay, let him leave, some people deserve to cherish, just treat sincerely. Everything goes with the flow, go with the flow, and don't force it.
As Miyazaki said, "When the person who accompanies you is about to get off the bus, even if you don't give up, you have to wave goodbye." ”
The essence of cleaning up is not to clean up, but to stay.
Leave a favorite lover in your heart, leave three or five confidants among many friends, life is enough.
The Buddhists have a story:
Unable to choose between his wife and lover, a man is in so much pain that he goes to the Buddha for help. The Buddha pointed to the three candles in the incense burner and asked him which one was brighter.
The man said, "I can't see which one is brighter, they seem to be as bright as ever." ”
The Buddha brought a candle to the man and asked him, "Now?" ”
The man said, "Of course the one in front of me is brighter." ”
The Buddha said, "Love is like this candle, when you love her and put her in front of your eyes and look at her with your heart, you will feel that she is brighter." ”
Lost in the chaotic feelings, instead of messing around, it is better to cherish the most important person in front of you and love with your heart.
Clean up desires and leave behind what matters most
Zhuangzi lived in poverty, lived on straw shoes, the family could not open the pot, once borrowed grain from Jianhe, of course, except to leave a wise story for posterity, he did not borrow anything.
The King of Wei summoned Zhuangzi, saw him in a patch, and asked him:
Sir is so knowledgeable, why did he get so messed up? Zhuangzi said: How can you live in such a world without being embarrassed?
How calmly he said this, there was no embarrassment at all.
Zhuangzi was very knowledgeable, traveled to many countries, and studied various schools of thought at that time.
With his knowledge, he will acquire wealth and fame as easily as he can probe for things.
When king Chu Wei sent an emissary with Hou Li to invite him to xiangguo, Zhuangzi told a story to the emissaries of chu:
Have you ever seen a sacrificial cow?
Feed it for several years, then dress it in splendid embroidery and lead it to the ancestral temple to serve as a sacrifice.
At this time, it wants to be a piglet and avoid being slaughtered, but it can't. I'd rather be like a turtle and find myself happy in a mud pond.
Zhuangzi didn't care about food and clothing, he wanted freedom.
Nowadays, we think that material abundance will bring more freedom to people, but we find that too many things have become a burden on life.
The Japanese TV series My House Is Empty is as simple as six episodes, each 30 minutes long, but it is very impressive.
The heroine Mai threw away more than 90% of the things in the house, reducing the various items to the minimum demand level.
When a 60-square-meter house looks as big as 100 square meters, you must also think of rolling on the floor like a mai.
The cleaning of the room is also a combing of the inner world.
Huang Zongxi has a saying: "Less desire to feel light." ”
In a materialistic world, streamlining the desire for matter is a kind of wisdom.
Constantly explore what the heart really needs, rather than being bound by desire.
Write at the end
Keiko became a high-ranking official and came to visit Zhuangzi in a carriage, followed by a vast honor guard.
Zhuangzi was fishing, and seeing Keiko's position, he poured all the buckets of fish he caught into the river, leaving only one.
Zhuangzi used his actions to tell Keiko, and also to his descendants:
We only need one fish, not so many things outside the body.
Material things are not necessarily rich, but the heart can be abundant enough.
Rich or poor, we can wear simple clothes, eat ordinary food, and have a calm heart.
Life is like a journey, when the footsteps are getting heavier and heavier, you may wish to pour out the sand in your shoes and clean up your life.
Cleaning up distractions can make you do a good job without distraction and achieve a better self;
Cleaning up emotions allows you to spend your limited time and energy on people who deserve it;
Cleaning up desires allows you to leave the most precious things in your life and get into battle with ease.
Drawing on Zhuangzi's wisdom, we can also grow wings like him and become dancing butterflies;
Or sink to the bottom of the sea, and then transform into a flying peng soaring at a height of 90,000 miles in the wind to see the most beautiful scenery in life.
