At 9:00 a.m. on December 15, 2021, the Qianmen Fire Rescue Station of the Beijing Dongcheng Detachment held the "Community Fire Liaison" - Fire Volunteer Service Team To award armbands and distribute the fire protection publicity kit, which marked the establishment of the first fire volunteer service team in Qianmen Area.
It is understood that the newly established community fire volunteer service team has a total of more than 60 people, all of whom have long been concerned about and supported fire protection work, and the members come from all walks of life, including government departments and public institution staff, community street workers and ordinary residents, as well as courier brothers and other enterprise employees.
In the future, this fire volunteer service team will cooperate with the rescue station "community fire liaison" to go deep into communities, schools, enterprises, and families to organize various volunteer service activities such as fire prevention publicity, hidden danger investigation, rescue training, etc., so that fire safety knowledge can truly enter the hutong courtyard and thousands of households.
"I'm excited to be a fire volunteer, which makes it easy for me to work in my community."
