Bell Tower: District-level general river chief on-site investigation of the construction of the Happy River and Lake

Recently, Shen Dong, secretary of the Zhonglou District Party Committee and chief river chief at the district level, led a team to conduct on-site investigation on the construction of the Happy River and Lake.

Shen Dong and his party successively inspected the construction site of the Happy River lake project in Wuxing Street, Yonghong Street and other places, as well as the construction site of the South Tongzi River Hub Project, and listened carefully to the relevant briefings. The construction of Happy River and Lake involves six aspects of water security, water resources, water environment, water ecology, water management and water culture, and sub-projects such as river dredging, shoreline finishing, barge restoration, as well as greening along the line, water ecological governance, and construction of local water culture facilities. According to the relevant requirements, the Zhonglou District River Chief's Office has actively started to carry out the preliminary work of the construction of the Happy River and Lake, and at present, the pre-feasibility study of the construction of the Happy River and Lake Project (Phase I) has been completed.

Shen Dong affirmed the progress of the construction of the district's happy river and lake, and put forward specific opinions and suggestions. He stressed: First, we must earnestly strengthen the coordination and linkage of various departments, consolidate responsibilities, strengthen measures, and ensure that all work is implemented in a down-to-earth manner and achieve practical results; second, we must strictly implement responsibilities, resolutely control quality and safety, and make every effort to build high-quality projects to benefit the people; third, we must do a good job in project coordination, grasp the progress of construction, and ensure that project construction is completed on time.
