Dear Citizens,

Water is the source of life, the key to production, the basis of ecology, the water environment is directly related to our living environment and quality of life, related to the regional ecological environment and sustainable development of economy and society. In recent years, with the comprehensive and in-depth promotion of the river and lake length system, the appearance of the city's rivers and lakes has been significantly improved, and the scene of "clear water and green shores, shallow bottoms of fish, abundant water and grass, and flocks of egrets" has initially appeared, which has become a good place for citizens to relax, sightsee and kiss the water. However, at present, the uncivilized phenomenon of littering and illegal fishing on the river bank still exists, which has seriously affected the environmental health of the city's waters and the cityscape. It is our common obligation to protect the health of rivers and lakes and maintain a clean, tidy and orderly river environment. To this end, we propose that the people of the city immediately take action to love the ecology of rivers and lakes, protect the water environment, and actively participate in the action of "protecting the water environment and building happy rivers and lakes".

First, love the ecology of rivers and lakes. Do not throw garbage into the river, discharge sewage, do not reclaim lakes, do not illegally mine sand, do not barbecue picnics by the river, and take away the garbage generated by play.

Second, civilized fishing. Do not fish illegally in the prohibited fishing areas of rivers and lakes, and fish in a civilized manner in the fishing areas, and the waste must be taken away; do not carry out acts such as fried fish, electric fish, and poisonous fish.

Third, keep the embankment clean and tidy. Do not cultivate vegetables on river beaches and river embankments, do not encroach on rivers, and do not occupy, pile up or build randomly within the management area of rivers and lakes.

4. Protect water conservancy engineering facilities. Do not destroy embankments, revetments and other river supporting facilities, do not damage water wading signs such as water source protection signs, river and lake chief system public notice boards.

V. Strengthen the responsibility to protect. Loving the ecology of rivers and lakes and protecting the water environment is a social responsibility, and the general public should supervise and resist the undesirable phenomena that occur around them that pollute water resources and damage the water environment of rivers and lakes.
