The draft environmental impact report for solicitation of comments is published
According to the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment, which came into effect on 1 January 2019, it is necessary to publicize the implementation of the construction project in order to understand the public's attitude towards the construction of the project and solicit opinions related to the environmental impact of the project. The relevant information on public participation in the environmental impact assessment of this project is hereby announced, and the content is as follows:
(1) The name and summary of the construction project
Project Name: Ecological Restoration Project of Huaihe River In the main urban area of Bengbu City
Project Summary: The scope of this project is from the West under the Bengbu Gate to the East to the Huai river channel of the Changhuaiwei Bridge with a total length of about 16km, and the beach land of about 600h㎡ between the top of the embankment road on both sides and the water surface of the Huai River. The main construction contents are river channel beaches, bridge revetments, and the remaining shoreline is all natural barges; slope protection for the waterward side embankment, using two types of chain ecological slope protection and turf slope protection; ecological restoration and landscape improvement of the beach, including the construction of tailwater wetlands, habitat restoration, water ecosystem and landscape node construction, etc., to create an ecological landscape pattern of "one river, two banks, three districts and twelve points".
The total construction period of the project is planned to be 36 months, starting from July of the first year to June of the fourth year. The total investment of the project is about 2.1 billion yuan, and the investment in environmental protection is 9.6624 million yuan.
