I remember selling for three dollars a piece, but our city here is too small, many people have seen this fish in the countryside, we call it square fish, so people don't buy my account at all, and in the end they didn't sell a few.
Then my brothers heard that square fish can lay eggs in river mussels, so they gave me three or four river mussels that could be thirty centimeters large, and they were thrown into the fish tank of the fortune cat, and I forgot about the collapse of the tank.
As a result, it can be imagined, within a few days, the fish tank came with a strong aroma, my fortune cat and the river mussels returned to the west together, and finally I raised these small square fish for more than half a year, and the rest were given away.
Alas, my little dream of getting rich was shattered again, and I also set up a tank of fortune cats, haha, this is my experience of breeding salmon.
However, this sturgeon is really beautiful when it is colored, that is, wild fish are not tolerant of low oxygen, and it is easier to lack oxygen when it first enters the tank. The trout is also a small ornamental fish belonging to the family carp, which is omnivorous, prefers to inhabit slow-flow or still water areas, swims quickly, is lively and cute.
There are many species of mullet in China, it is said that there are 12 species, also divided into Chinese salmon and round body sturgeon, the general body length is 5-10 cm, adapt to water temperature and water quality are very extensive, life expectancy in 4-5 years, before they have also been exported to Europe and Japan as ornamental fish, is a very valuable native ornamental fish in China.
The most peculiar thing about the trout is their breeding method, their spawning period is between April and June, the male and female sturgeon will go together in the water to find the figure of the river mussel, as long as the opening of the river mussel is found, the female will lay the eggs in the gill cavity of the river mussel, and then the male is fertilized.
Then the eggs of the salmon develop in the gill petals of the river mussels, due to the respiration of the river mussels, so that the eggs of the scorpion get enough oxygen and can have a good protective effect on them, so the hatching rate of these eggs will also be very high, after three to four weeks, the juveniles will leave the river mussels to live freely.
And what is even more peculiar is that when the trout spawns, the river mussels will also scatter their fertilized eggs on the body of the trout and let them hatch on their own, so they are considered a symbiotic relationship in the organism, and the previous life may be a family.
However, on how to raise river mussels in the fish tank, fish farming veterans do not know, listen to aquarists said that it is necessary to breed in green water, in order to provide a suitable environment and nutrition for the river mussels, if it is to raise sturgeon fish want them to reproduce smoothly, you have to raise one or two small river mussels in the fish tank where they are raised.
Don't be like the old fish breeder, directly on such a large river mussel, the fish tank water will soon stink.
