The Northeast Field Army is known as the "Million Heaven regiment", the Pingjin Campaign was put into action, and the two major corps had 12 columns, plus the artillery column and the railway column, totaling more than 800,000. The North China Military Region was led by marshal Xu Qianqian at that time, preparing to liberate Taiyuan, so it did not participate in the Pingjin Campaign.
