On December 16, Aika Auto learned that the American Highway Safety Insurance Association (hereinafter referred to as IIHS) conducted a crash test on ford Bronco. The test results show that the car achieved the highest score "G" in six tests, including 25% front driver side bias collision, 25% front co-driver side bias collision, 40% front bias collision, side collision, roof pressure test, and seat test.
In the 25% front driver's side bias collision, Bronco's A-pillar did not have a significant bend, the cockpit structure was not significantly deformed, and the airbags and side air curtains in the car also caught the dummy's head.
In the seat test, THE IIHS gave the Ford Bronco an "M," meaning acceptable. The test vehicle was stationary, the crash car rear-ended the test vehicle at a speed of 32km/h, and during the test, Bronco's seats and headrests failed to ensure sufficient support for the dummy's neck, resulting in a "sprained" of the dummy's neck. As a result, Ford Bronco failed to receive the "TOP SAFETY PICK" award.
