Samsung's new folding screen technology ECO OLED
Unlock a new generation of folding trend passwords
Take you to experience something different than ever
01
A display that is better suited to the planet and the user
Samsung's new folding screen technology, ECO OLED*, combines polarizer and screen panel to reduce power consumption, improve color rendering, and optimize image quality.

02
No more worrying about the amount of electricity
ECO OLED increases the transmittance by 33% on the basis of ordinary displays, uses less power to protect a brighter screen, reduces OLED power consumption by 25%, and significantly increases smartphone usage time. Use your smartphone and never worry about power consumption again.
03
120% color satisfaction
See vivid and vivid colors through the screen. ECO OLED integrates polarizers and adds color filters to present more realistic colors. Increased RGB vividness by 15% and color expressiveness up to 90% of Rec.2020**, which is 125% of the DCI-P3*** standard.
04
Look for hidden cameras
Apply Samsung UPC (Under Panel Camera) technology, hide the camera under the screen, not much different from the surrounding screens. Together with the international certification body UL (Underwriters Laboratories), THE JRCD (Just Noticeable Color Difference) was reduced to less than 1, achieving a uniformity that is difficult for the naked eye to distinguish.
05
Complete cryogenic training
Samsung's advanced foldable OLED is suitable for extremely cold weather. Winter temperatures in major cities around the world are as low as -20°C to -10°C. Samsung's foldable OLED has been certified by Bureau Veritas, a global certification body, and even if it is folded 30,000 times in a -20°C environment, the panel quality will not drop.
*Eco OLED: A breakthrough technology developed by Samsung Display to improve the light efficiency of the panel while reducing power consumption by internalizing the external light reflection function of the polarizer.
**Rec.2020: Color space standard for television images developed by the International Telecommunication Union.
DCI-P3: Defined by the Digital Cinema Advocacy Group (DCI), it is used as the color gamut for digital cinema projectors.
