On December 14, the Gutangyuan No. 3 Tunnel of the Second Phase of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway was successfully penetrated, which is also the first tunnel of the Second Phase of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway.
The second phase of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway is led from the newly built Tonglu East Railway Station, through Tonglu, Pujiang, Yiwu three counties (cities), connected to the Shanghai-Kunming High-speed Railway Yiwu Station, the new main line is 59 kilometers, the design speed is 350 kilometers per hour, and the total investment is 9.480 billion yuan. The project has a total of 22 bridges and 21 tunnels, with a bridge-tunnel ratio of 94.49%, which is the first high-speed rail project wholly owned by the province in Zhejiang Province, and is led by zhejiang transportation investment group.
The Gutangyuan No. 3 Tunnel, located in Pujiang County, Jinhua City, with a total length of 239.43 meters, is a single-hole double-line tunnel, which is constructed by the Shanghai Bureau of China Railway, with a maximum burial depth of about 50 meters, complex geological landforms and difficult construction.
In view of the special situation of the tunnel, all parties involved in the construction cohesive force, reasonable planning, deployment of professional construction teams, building a solid epidemic prevention and control system, and taking measures to avoid the rainy season into the cave construction. The project was also constructed with fully mechanized equipment and equipped with the latest research and development of intelligent machinery, which lasted 172 days.
At present, the second phase of the Hangzhou-Wenzhou Railway is accelerating the full line, and the key bridges and tunnels have all been constructed and are expected to be completed and opened to traffic in 2024.
