After multi-party consultation, the small-diameter drilling rig was used as a life channel to transport supplies, and the large-diameter horizontal drilling rig was used as a rescue channel to rescue the trapped people. At 10:33, the small-diameter drilling rig at the collapse site of the Donghongshan Tunnel successfully opened the life maintenance monitoring channel and got in touch with the trapped people. After 6 hours of continuous operation, the large-diameter horizontal drilling rig took the lead in successfully breaking through the collapsed body, forming a 620 mm rescue channel, and rescued the trapped people. After the rescue is completed, the cave will be closed, and the collapse will be treated after waiting for professional assessment and determination of the treatment plan.
