Many years ago, Ma Weidu was a literary editor, and in the noisy literary field, he noticed a name called Shi Tiesheng. Many years later, when Stetson went to heaven, Ma Weidu wrote a commemorative article in which he said: "Death and suffering make Stetson a philosopher among writers. The world is full of chaos and temptation, but his thirty years of writing are more exciting than a decade. He has not changed, the times have changed; the times have changed, he has not changed, thus highlighting the value of a soul. "Today, we launch an article commemorating Shi Tiesheng, reminiscing about the bones of a literary artist and that era that passed.

The delay in knowing the death of the writer Mr. Shi Tiesheng shows that I am far away from the literary world. But this still made me stunned at the table for a long time, when a song sounded in my ears - "My Distant Qingping Bay". It's a novel, and it's a masterpiece by Stevenson, and I remember publishing it in 1982, Youth Literature, where I worked, and it's been nearly thirty years since I look back.

The readers who read "My Distant Qingping Bay" should be at least fifty years old today, and this novel had a great influence on the literary scene at that time, and the author wrote about the hard rural life as picturesque and full of emotion. A writer with a physical disability can have such writing and mentality, which shocks our editors.

"My Distant Qingping Bay" Old Book Shadow

The responsible editor of this novel is niu Zhiqiang, and I have not met him since I left the editorial office. Mr. Niu Zhiqiang was the youngest of the college students before the "Cultural Revolution" of our "Youth Literature" at that time, so everyone called him Xiaoniu. I remember one day, he rushed to me and said that he had caught a good manuscript and made headlines, so I took the time to read it first. According to the status of literary journals at that time, the headlines on "Youth Literature" were similar to today's blockbuster box office of more than 300 million, which made people excited and proud. At that time, we were all called Old Chen Lao Zhao Xiaoniu Xiaoma in the editorial department, no one called the official, no one called the teacher, and this kind of false head and brain title problems were slowly added over the years.

One day at noon in the canteen, Niu Zhiqiang shouted at me, I saw him pushing a wheelchair, and on the wheelchair sat a smiling Shi Tiesheng, and I hurried over to greet him. In the face of a disabled person like Shi Tiesheng, I always don't know how to talk well, the words are light, it seems numb; the words are heavy, I am afraid of mistakes; it is not light or heavy and it is not good to hold, so I have to laugh at each other and turn my head to fight with Niu Zhiqiang.

I was young at the time, and I had just arrived in the newsroom, and in my life experience at that time, the weak among the disabled were all miserable, and the strong always had a deep look. But This is not the case with Stetson, and his bright smile is still clearly fixed in my mind, lingering. He showed no sign of complaining, and spoke and behaved peacefully. That day, the editorial department left him to eat in the canteen and added two dishes, and the people who could be gathered around by our editorial department gathered around, and the chopsticks could not be stretched out on the table.

Later, Shi Tiesheng was not only concerned by the literary world because of this novel, but also attracted the attention of many readers. His misfortune when he went to the countryside caused his lower limbs to be paralyzed, which made his works more thoughtful than ordinary people. This level of thinking, unlike the disabled zhijian that we often taught in our time, is more about the meaning of life.

Shi Tiesheng returned to northern Shaanxi in the 1980s

I didn't know Mr. Stetson well, and at that time the editorial department was responsible for the writers. Niu Zhiqiang is Shi Tiesheng's responsible editor, and as soon as he mentions Shi Tiesheng, he is excited like a child's nanny, laughing in a string, and never saying all kinds of related topics. I remember that he once took me to the home next to the Temple of Stetson, the room was crowded, the wheelchair needed to be carried, it was very inconvenient, Stetson always looked up at us in a wheelchair, which made me worry and sit down as soon as possible. Near the dinner, Stetson had to stay at home to eat, and before he could go to the restaurant, we repeatedly pushed back before leaving his low hut. I felt a lot at the time, but today I can't say anything. Then I left Youth Literature and wanted to see Stetson again, only to see his works. In the 1980s, writers and writers' associations were filled with a sense of sacredness everywhere, and it would be awe-inspiring to go out and say that they were writers. At that time, stars were not as popular as writers, and it was the consensus of society that depended on faces rather than brains. Unfortunately, this consensus no longer existed in the nineties, and the social values of the supremacy of money made writers go to the sea one by one, and those who did not go to the sea envied it. The sacred aura of the writers gradually faded, the high-toed writers began to bow their heads, the social status gradually declined, and some of the engineers of the human soul embarked on the road of red dust.

Stetson fell behind due to shaking his wheelchair. The ancients often said that blessings and misfortunes depend on each other, and the scourge of paralysis has become a blessing for Shi Tiesheng at this point. This layer of thinking about the meaning of life made him know the meaning of writing more clearly than normal people, and made him even more unable to let go of the pen in his hand.

Stetson would go to the Temple of Earth on the most bitter days to "sit still and think", and no healthy writer would be so ascetic. The life of a paralyzed, dialysis three times a week is like a string, and how far away from death is probably only known by immersion, Anderson said in a calm tone: "Death is a thing that does not need to be rushed, it is a thing that will not be missed no matter how much it is delayed, a festival that will inevitably come." ”

Death and suffering made Stetson a philosopher among writers. The world is full of chaos and temptation, but his thirty years of writing are more exciting than a decade. He has not changed, the times have changed; the times have changed, he has not changed, thus highlighting the value of a soul. Stetson joked that "the profession is sick, the amateur is writing", and this heavy sentence makes us sound how open-minded. On the last day of 2010, four days before his sixtieth birthday, he ushered in his "inevitable feast", in which Mr. Stetson must have been happy and transcended mortals.
