In the fifth year of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Wang Xizhi invited several cultural celebrities with social prestige to hold the "Lanting Yaji" in Huiji Shanyin, which was a far-reaching event in China's cultural history. It pioneered the collection of poetry and wine.
The initiator of this elegant collection of Zhongjiang Xuanwuguan was Wang Bo, the head of the "Four Masters of the Early Tang Dynasty". On the day of the Chongyang Festival, when the sky was clear and the autumn breeze was refreshing, Wang Bo invited Lu Zhaolin (one of the "Four Masters of the Early Tang Dynasty", then a lieutenant of Xindu County, Wang Bo came to Sichuan and wanted to meet his friend), Shao Dazhen (a poet from Anyang, Henan, then an official in Sichuan) ascended to Xuanwu Mountain, drank Jinhua wine with great enthusiasm, and then wrote the poem of the same title with great interest, "Nine Days to Climb Xuanwu Mountain Tour Overlook". Emperor Gaozong, enraged, ordered Wang Bo to be expelled from the palace without asking any questions.
Although the fate was uncertain, the years were not smooth, and he was suddenly hit by a fatal blow, Wang Bo did not hang his head and was depressed, he was a tough man with iron bones, and he could not lower his head high. In this eventful autumn of fate, in order to eliminate his troubles and bitterness, he decided to change his course, change his behavior, and take the path he chose.
After this incident, in order to stay away from the land of right and wrong, he avoided the dignitaries and nobles, stayed away from the political whirlpool, stayed away from the vicious officialdom, and nourished his heart with the bright moon breeze; used the mountains and rivers to be pleasant; he gave lyrics to poetry and songs; and took pleasure in making friends and friends, and always maintained his own elegance and good taste. He wants to live his own wonderful.
As a result, Wang Bo still left Chang'an, Kyoto, where he had lived for several years, and went south to Sichuan along the ancient Shu Road. He traveled one way to the mountains and one journey to the water, and he walked and traveled. After Wang Bo arrived in Sichuan, he heard that the Qing wall of the Xuanwu Temple in zhongjiang preserved the exquisite murals made by the Eastern Jin Dynasty painting master Gu Kaizhi, and he was determined to go and see it.
