1. BAIC became Daimler's largest shareholder
On December 13, BEIJING AUTOMOTIVE Group Co., Ltd. announced that it has held 9.98% of Daimler AG's shares in 2019 through continued investment; the two sides fully recognize the success of long-term cooperation in the past and attach importance to future development. At the same time, Daimler Group holds 9.55% of the shares of BAIC Group listed companies in Hong Kong, and holds 2.46% of the shares of BAIC Group in the A-share listed company (BAIC Blue Valley). Through this increase, BAIC will surpass Geely to become Daimler's largest shareholder.
2. Xiaomi opens the two-line car
On December 13, according to informed sources, Xiaomi opened a two-line car-making model, and its holding company, Zhimi Technology, is preparing for the corresponding matters of car-making.
At the same time, it is reported that Ma Yongdong, the former head of GM's pan-Asian electric vehicle project, joined the team to be responsible for Zhimi's vehicle business, and many of BAIC's electronic and electrical architecture personnel have also recently joined Zhimi.
3. Lifan Technology and Geely established a joint venture company
On December 13, Lifan Technology plans to establish a joint venture with Geely Automobile in the directly administered area of Liangjiang New District, Chongqing. The registered capital of the target company is 600 million yuan, of which the company contributes 300 million yuan in the form of monetary funds, with a shareholding ratio of 50%, and Geely Automobile invests 300 million yuan in the form of monetary funds, with a shareholding ratio of 50%.
According to the "Investment Cooperation Agreement" signed by the two parties, Geely Automobile will fully support the management and operation of the target company's car-making business, and jointly promote the transformation and upgrading of Lifan Technology's automobile industry with Lifan Technology.
4. Electronic driver's license has begun to be promoted nationwide
Recently, we learned from the Ministry of Public Security that since December 10, the country has fully implemented the electronic driving license, and at present, the local public security traffic management departments have issued electronic driving licenses to more than 63 million people through the national unified "traffic management 12123" APP. On the day of the full implementation, more than 3.9 million people were issued electronic driving licenses.
5. Times SAIC Phase II 16GWh battery cell production line started
On December 10, SAIC Motor said on the interactive platform that the first phase of SAIC's completed production capacity has reached 26GWh, taking into account the shortage of production capacity, it has started the construction of the second phase of 16GWh battery cell production line, and is scheduled to be completed and put into operation by the end of next year.
6. Li Shufu no longer serves as the chairman of Geely New Energy
A few days ago, we learned from the enterprise investigation that Zhejiang Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group Co., Ltd. had undergone industrial and commercial changes, Li Shufu withdrew from the chairmanship, and general manager Zhou Jianqun concurrently served as chairman.
Zhejiang Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group Co., Ltd. was established in February 2016 with a registered capital of RMB 500 million, which is wholly owned by Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., Ltd. In addition, we note that An Conghui also withdrew from the directorship of Zhejiang Geely New Energy Commercial Vehicle Group Co., Ltd. at the same time.
7. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the 2021 version of the lithium-ion battery industry specification
Recently, in order to further strengthen the management of the lithium-ion battery industry and promote the transformation and upgrading of the industry and technological progress, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued the "Lithium-ion Battery Industry Specification Conditions (2021 Version)" and the "Lithium-ion Battery Industry Specification Announcement Management Measures (2021 Version)". This specification will be implemented from December 20, 2021!
It is worth noting that the relevant requirements of the new specification are reduced compared with the draft for comment. For example, in terms of power batteries, the "energy battery energy density ≥180Wh/kg, battery pack energy density ≥120Wh/kg" was cancelled, and a separate index requirement for ternary materials was added (the energy density of the single battery ≥ 210Wh/kg, and the energy density of the battery pack ≥ 150Wh/kg). The energy density of other energy-type monomer batteries ≥ 160Wh/kg, and the energy density of battery packs ≥ 115Wh/kg.
8. Hong Hao, vice president of Transpo Energy Automobile, has left his post
On December 13, some media reported that Hong Hao, vice president of Baoneng Automobile Group, had formally proposed his resignation to the company and recently left Baoneng. In June this year, Baoneng Group announced that Hong Hao, former vice president and director of the marketing and sales department of Dongfeng Renault Automobile Co., Ltd., officially joined Baoneng Automobile as the vice president of Baoneng Automobile Group Co., Ltd., and was fully responsible for the marketing of Baoneng Automobile's brands. Nowadays, Hong Hao has proposed to leave Baoneng Automobile less than half a year ago, and the industry speculates or is related to Baoneng's management model.
9. In November, Gaohe Automobile delivered 763 units
Recently, according to the retail data of the Data Resource Center of China Automobile Center, Gaohe Automobile delivered 763 HiPhi X units in November, and a total of 2,805 units were delivered in the second half of the year. After October, it once again won the second place in the sales list of more than 500,000 luxury brand electric vehicles.
Since the delivery in May, in only half a year, the cumulative delivery volume of Gaohe HiPhi X has exceeded 3,300 vehicles.
10. Beiqi Blue Valley completed the development of the second generation of solid-state batteries
On December 13, Beiqi Blue Valley said on the interactive platform that the company has completed the development of the second generation of solid-state batteries, the test and verification of the battery system bench and the verification of the vehicle (ARCFOXαT). It is reported that the verification car is a Pole Fox αT pure electric SUV, which also indicates that the car may launch a model equipped with solid-state battery core technology in the future.
