At the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, BMW brought a new BMW 2 Series coupe, and announced the official listing, the new car temporarily launched a model of 225i M Sports Night Suit, the official price of 299,800 yuan, powered by a 2.0T + 8AT combination, using rear-wheel drive.

BMW's new 2 Series coupe exterior design is significantly more personalized, with an active variable intake grille on the front face and sharp LED headlights on both sides. The side lines of the new car are more coordinated than the four-door coupe, while maintaining the proportion of the long front and short tail, the tail design is more full, equipped with a small ducktail design, the light group echoes with the front of the car, and the exhaust adopts a bilateral two-out layout.
Inside the car, the familiar BMW cockpit layout comes to mind. The new car adopts an overall styling design similar to that of the 3 series and 4 series, and is equipped with a 5-inch color dashboard display + 8.8-inch central touch display as standard, with the iDrive 7 operating system as standard, and also optionally a combination of 12.3-inch full LCD instrument cluster + 10.25-inch central touch display.
The length, width and height of the body reached 4537/1838/1390 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase reached 2741 mm, which was 105 mm longer, 64 mm wider, 28 mm lower in height and 51 mm longer than the previous model. The front axle track is 1575 mm (54 mm increase) and the rear axle track is 1587 mm (31 mm more).
Unlike the 2 Series four-door coupe based on the FAR front-drive platform, the new 2-series two-door coupe is based on the CLAR rear-drive platform, and the overall size is slightly larger than the former, which is more obvious than the current model. In terms of power, the new 2 Series coupe only introduces one kind of power, the new car is equipped with a 2.0T engine, the maximum power is 135kW, the peak torque is 300N·m, the transmission system matches the 8AT transmission, and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers is 7.5 seconds.
