Peace has not come easily, the past is devastated, and in the future, we hope that our generations will strengthen themselves and revitalize the Chinese nation. Today, December 13, the 8th National Day of Public Worship in our country, there has been a "hell" in our history, that is, 84 years ago today: the fall of Nanjing.

The lyrics sing: In 1937, the devil entered the Central Plains. On December 13, 1937, Nanjing fell under the constant impact of the Japanese army, and under the command of Matsui Ishigen, commander of the Central China Dispatch Army, and Gu Shoufu, the commander of the 6th Division, the Nanjing Massacre, which lasted for more than 40 days, officially began.
This history will be a warning that we will always remember, and the national shame can never be forgotten. The Nanjing Massacre unfolded in an organized, planned, and premeditated manner, and for more than 40 days the Japanese army continued to carry out bloody atrocities such as massacres, rapes, arson, and robberies against us.
The total number of casualties in the Nanjing Massacre exceeded 300,000, there were 28 cases of collective massacres, and the number of massacres was 190,000; there were 858 cases of scattered massacres, with 150,000 deaths, and the total number of deaths reached more than 300,000. Ironically, there is no such passage in Japanese history textbooks.
In the "Informal Talks", there was a guest who talked about history, and the Japanese guests said that their history did not have anything to do with the invasion of China. Zhang Yu'an, as a Chinese guest, said that only the victims are learning history, and the invaders don't care at all.
The Nanjing Massacre is our eternal pain, listening to the witnesses of the Nanjing Massacre telling the scene of the disaster at that time, talking about the grandmother shed tears of sadness: when the Japanese put the bayonet on the table, untied the belt and pulled me out. I said I was a child, but she didn't believe it.
Tao Chengyi, a survivor of the Nanjing Massacre, said: At that time, the Japanese pointed out all the young people in the crowd, then took them to the hanzhong gate and shot them collectively, and finally poured gasoline and burned them. This is a bloody lesson that the ancestors of the past personally experienced, how dare we forget.
How tragic the Nanjing Massacre was, on average, one of our compatriots was killed every 12 seconds, and they raped and insulted those days, killing and setting fires to all kinds of evil. They don't have humanity, we're just being recognized by them as "guinea pigs."
I vividly remember that when I was in school, there was a passage in the history book about the Nanjing Massacre, two Japanese officers competing against who killed the most people, and they treated us Chinese as pigs and dogs. However, today there are still people on the Internet saying: All passed, what is the big deal, I do not understand.
Most of the elderly people who survived the Nanjing Massacre have now passed away one after another, 11 died in 2021 alone, and these witnesses have gradually disappeared over time, but this history, this memory we can never forget.
In fact, we have to thank an American named John Magee. When the Nanjing Massacre occurred that year, it was he who risked his life and secretly filmed the atrocities of the Japanese army. Finally, the video was transmitted to the world, so that more people knew about the atrocities of the Japanese army.
After the war, this video was submitted as evidence to the Nanjing Ministry of National Defense's military tribunal for the trial of war criminals, and the Japanese war criminals were formally punished with justice, so we would like to thank this American John Maggie, who is our eternal friend.
I remember my grandmother telling me a little bit about that year, when she was only a few years old, and she said that she was hiding in the haystack and watching the Japanese with guns rummaging around in takeaways, and she was very scared. However, some people now forget history.
A few years ago, a video of an Internet celebrity wearing a Japanese military uniform circulated on the Internet, and he thought it was fashionable. This is his ugliest act, asking if you don't know this history? He said, "Isn't it all over?" Subsequently, the police arrested them for disturbing civil order.
Internet celebrities want traffic can be understood, but it is best not to punch their ancestors in the face for the sake of eyeballs, you are a Chinese, if you go back 84 years, do you still want to be a traitor? We are not against learning some of the better knowledge of Japan, but don't go too far.
There was also the kimono style that appeared on the street some time ago, and there was a girl who walked around the campus in a kimono on 9.18 and "showed off" everywhere. There are other cases in which several good citizens have accused them, and these girls are also very righteous: this is our freedom of dress.
The fire of the Hanfu style makes us relive the classical culture, but I don't know where this kimono style comes from, first of all, we are not against the Japanese kimono culture, but we just think that if you want to wear it, it is best to wear it on the streets of Japan, don't take the people who have hurt us as an example, and let us learn from you.
History is the foundation of a country, in the past we were indeed backward, so others bullied us. Today we are rich and strong, but there are so many people who are admiring the outside world, we are not opposed to the excellent culture of foreign countries, we can take its essence, go to its dross, but you better be sure that you choose the essence.
Today is the 8th day of public sacrifice of the Nanjing Massacre, and it is our duty to remember history, and we cannot use the hatred of the past to oppose them today, but we must not forget these painful lessons, because you are a Chinese.
The prosperity and strength of the motherland is our pride, and many people are still hostile to us, and the last thing I want to see is our own people who look down on our own people. I like a saying very much: the mountains and rivers are unharmed, and the country is safe.
There is a saying on the Internet that is very popular: I have no regrets in this life and will do Chinese in the next life.
