According to the Guardian, on the afternoon of December 11, local time, several gunshots rang out outside Kensington Palace in London, England, and tourists fled in panic. It is understood that around 3 p.m. that day, a man was seen with a gun entering a bank and a bookmaker near Marlos Road in Kensington. At around 3:20 p.m., the man drove near the junction of Kensington Road and Palace Gate.

After 15 minutes, police near the palace gate stopped the car. The two sides faced off, and witnesses said three gunshots were heard.

After the gunshots rang out, the visitors to the palace fled the scene. Witness Katie Roberton, who was taking her son on a tour of the palace, said that after three loud noises, everyone around her began to run wildly.

Police said the man with the gun was injured on the spot, and at about 4:08 p.m., an ambulance arrived at the scene, and the man had died of his injuries.

After the incident, roads near Kensington Palace were blocked.

Kensington Palace was built in the 17th century as the official residence of Princess Diana, where Prince William and his wife currently reside, and in 2011, Kensington Palace's Gurudwara room began to open to the public.

Police said the incident had nothing to do with terrorism and called on the public not to panic. London police are investigating the incident.
