According to the requirements of the Notice of the National Health Commission and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine on the Selection of the Second National Famous Chinese Medicine Practitioners, the candidates for national famous Chinese medicine generally meet the following conditions:

I. Second, love the cause of traditional Chinese medicine, wholeheartedly serve the health of the people, make significant contributions to the development of traditional Chinese medicine, have a great influence in the traditional Chinese medicine industry, and have been widely recognized by the people.

3. Engaged in the clinical use of traditional Chinese medicine or processing, identification and other work related to the clinical use of traditional Chinese medicine for more than 30 years, still adhere to clinical work, rich experience, exquisite technology, obvious efficacy. Among them, the number of years of work in traditional Chinese medicine is calculated until December 31, 2021.

Fourth, the theoretical attainments of traditional Chinese medicine are relatively profound, the academic achievements are fruitful, the academic ideas or technical experience are relatively unique, and there are remarkable results in inheriting academics, cultivating heirs and inheriting team building, with representative monographs, and the representative heirs cultivated have a high professional level.

The number of national famous Chinese medicine commendations is 100. 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the National Health Commission, the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine recommended 4 candidates respectively. The Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps recommends 2 candidates. Ethnic minority areas should make overall plans to recommend ethnic minority medical candidates.
