Yeshe Decheng

To understand her, we must first start with her parents, whose father was a Tibetan writer and whose mother was an American anthropologist. When I graduated from University, I didn't know where to go. The rest of her classmates were busy looking for work, and at this time her mother gave her a suggestion to come to her father's hometown.

Yeshet Cheng followed his mother's advice and soon came to Tibet from New York himself. Many people can't imagine that as a girl who grew up in the United States, Yeshe Decheng would certainly not adapt to the lifestyle here.

So no one will think that she can stay here for a long time, many people think that she just came here to play for a few days, and then returned to the United States to find a stable job, this is the trajectory of Yeshe Decheng's life, but Yeshe Decheng told us with her own actions that she regarded China as her home, she used her 10 years of youth to sell the yak velvet scarf here to the world, she brought the people here to make a fortune together, and she fell in love with China from the heart.

In 2004, Yeshe Decheng came to his father's hometown, a small village called The Village of Rendoma. Isid Cheng, who has just come here, is very happy because it makes her feel fresh, and she is also attracted by the environment here, she has never seen such a beautiful place in the United States, so Yesid Cheng fell in love with this place at first sight.

However, a few days later, Yesid cheng felt a kind of loneliness, because every weekend the other girls would chat with their parents and graze together, but Only Yesid cheng was alone, and every time she watched others flock, she was very envious.

As a half-outsider, Yeshe Decheng is very eager to be accepted by the Tibetans here, because she wants to integrate into their lives and become a member of this big family. But Yesheid cheng knew that it was not easy for her to get the approval of others, so she used her own actions to prove it.

After staying here for a while, Yeshe Decheng proposed to the Tibetans here the idea of selling their yak velvet scarves as luxury goods, but because the economic conditions here were relatively backward at that time, the traffic was very underdeveloped, and there was only one road to the outside world, people here thought that Yesid Cheng was joking, and no one wanted to believe her.

And this is also the task assigned to her by her mother, so Yesid Cheng will definitely do her best to complete it. On this plateau, Yeshe Decheng planned to build a workshop to process yak down into exquisite scarves and shawls and promote them to the rest of the world. But since no one wanted to believe her, no one in her workshop wanted to join at all. Yeshe Decheng was the first to persuade the Tibetans, Sanji and his wife, to become the first employees of their workshop. Immediately after, with her firm faith and serious attitude, she attracted the second batch of 16 "bold" villagers to join.

Although there was still a lack of manpower, it was already very pleasing relative to the beginning, and then Yesid Achievement began to think about how to weave scarves.

Because he wanted to make the most special scarf in the world, Isid Achievement insisted on handcrafting it in the oldest way. In addition, there are a lot of yaks here, so this is also a major feature of them, so she plans to use these yak down as raw materials to weave various fabrics.

However, how to weave cloth is another big problem for them, because the Tibetan people have always lived by grazing cattle, so they have hardly been exposed to such a technology as weaving, and because of their personality, it is more difficult for them to do this kind of delicate work, but there is a saying that it is difficult like a spring, it is weak if you are strong, you are weak, there is no difficulty in attacking, only people who are unwilling to do it.

For Tibetans who are not good at weaving, a long period of training is required. Yeshe Decheng specially invited highly skilled textile masters from other countries to train the villagers and teach them the techniques of weaving. From the initial hectics to the gradual familiarity, the villagers also developed great enthusiasm for this matter, and their interest in learning was very high.

Time always passes inadvertently, and in the blink of an eye, six months have passed, and the villagers have completed their training and learned a lot of textile techniques. At this time, they are no longer the skeptical mentality they had at the beginning, but they have a little confidence in this matter.

With the continuous development and progress of science and technology today, many things, many items are completed by technology, so this kind of pure handmade textiles, once they appear in the eyes of the world, will certainly be very popular, because its value is money can not be traced, which also shows its preciousness.

However, the ancient weaving process is very cumbersome and complicated. Each machine has more than 4,000 threads, and each one needs to be put on manually, and there can be no mistakes, because their quality control and requirements are very strict, and only by making good products can they have the confidence to sell at a good price.

Although the production process of scarves is very slow, it also consumes a lot of manpower and material resources. But it is precisely this quality and emotional experience that modern assembly lines do not have, which coincides with what luxury brands pursue with their products.

Yeshe Decheng insists on using the oldest weaving method to weave the yak down with the highest quality and color into a "luxury" with the unique Tibetan cultural color of the Tibetan people, in addition to being different in method, it must also have its own characteristics in materials, which means that the unique advantages here should be used.

Yeshey Has always insisted on pure nature, making the design as simple as possible and highlighting the raw materials. In her view, what is produced and sold is not a precious material such as yak down, nor a scarf made, but a feeling about Tibetan areas, a slow-paced way of life, and a magic from nature.

However, nowadays, handicrafts are in decline, and many inheritance techniques are slowly disappearing, and in the eyes of people, these are the crystallization of the wisdom of our Chinese nation and the things we need to wait for. In terms of product display, Yeshe Decheng also insists on using its own employees as models, they are all native Tibetans, and only they can express the characteristics of this place.

It is precisely because of their persistence and dedication to quality. So they were able to conquer the European market, countless luxury brands are their partners, Yeshe Decheng and his companions sold a yak velvet scarf for thousands of euros, and everyone bought not only this textile, but also a kind of effort and love.

Thanks to the efforts of Yixi Decheng, she has made these scarves into top luxury goods, and because of her reasons, more and more people have learned that there is such a beautiful place in China, which has also led to the development of tourism here and attracted a large number of tourists who have come to visit.

Today, Yeshe Decheng is an indispensable member of the local Tibetans, and everyone regards her as their own. She is also known to many as the highland goddess with direct access to Paris. She has the most beautiful and warmest craftsman's heart. After listening to her story, do you have any thoughts about this girl? Do you think it's appropriate to sell a scarf for that price?
