Fans were ecstatic when Marvel stars Chris Evan and Scarlett Johansson announced that they would collaborate on a romantic action-adventure film called Ghosted, however, there are now reports that Scarlett has been replaced by Anna de Armas, the star of "No Time to Die."
Reports confirm that the famous actress Scarlett Johansson is no longer part of the film. Ghosted was produced by Chris Evans and will now be led by Ana De Armas. Armas will also be on board as an executive producer to present the film. According to the report, Scarlett quit the film because Ghosted plans to start shooting production in February 2022, and the date cannot be determined because she is busy with other commitments.
Skydance's David Ellison spearheaded the introduction of actress Anna de Armas into the film No Time to Die. Now that amas movies like Blade Out of the Sheath, No Time to Die, and Blonde have caused a huge splash in Hollywood, Ghosted will mark her second collaboration with Evans, as she has recently starred in Gray Man, a film produced by Netflix and starring Evans and Ryan Gosling.
Written by famed writers Ryan Rees and Paul Wernick (who were also producers of Ghosted), Ghosted quickly became one of the most anticipated films of the coming year, a high-concept love action film, according to Deadline. With Apple's support, the film is expected to be released in the second half of 2022.
