From December 1st to 5th, the "Charm of Hangzhou" 2021 Zhejiang Youth Taekwondo Championship (Men's Group) was held at the Gymnasium of Lin'an District Sports Culture Convention and Exhibition Center. The competition was hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Bureau, organized by the Zhejiang Provincial Sports Competition Center and the People's Government of Lin'an District of Hangzhou, and a total of 179 athletes were sent from various districts and cities to participate. This event will conduct a comprehensive inspection of the entire venue facilities and equipment operation, including the entire competition process, the arrival of personnel in place, and the linkage of various business ports.

Lin'an, the hometown of King Qian. Lin'an Sports Culture and Convention Center is located near Jiuzhou Street Station of Hangzhou Metro Line 16, completed and put into use in 2014, covering an area of 100,000 square meters and a construction area of 85,000 square meters, which is one of the landmark sports buildings in Lin'an.
According to the unified arrangement of the Hangzhou Asian Organizing Committee, the Lin'an Sports Culture Convention and Exhibition Center Gymnasium will host two events, wrestling and taekwondo, and is expected to produce 31 gold medals (including 18 in wrestling and 13 in taekwondo).
According to the transformation task of the Asian Games, 85 indicators in 7 aspects, such as the stadium competition venue, spectator area facilities, event function rooms, and event special systems, were upgraded and transformed.
At the same time, in order to meet the requirements of the Asian Games, a new warm-up hall was built, covering an area of 5,767 square meters and a construction area of 10,266 square meters. In February 2021, Lin'an Sports culture and Convention Center passed the completion and acceptance of the Asian Games venue project, and basically completed the transformation task of the Asian Games venues.
In September 2021, the Venue Construction Department of the Hangzhou Asian Organizing Committee organized experts to inspect the functions of the venue events at the Lin'an Sports and Culture Convention center, and the venue functions were accepted to meet the needs of 10 functional areas, such as spectator activity area, sports competition area, news operation area, venue operation area, security operation area, competition field area, TELEVISION broadcast area, mixed interview area, venue protocol area, ceremony and cultural activity area.
