On April 13, the 2024 Huangpi District Youth Taekwondo Competition and Huangpi District Reserve Talent Selection Tournament was grandly opened in the gymnasium of Kangli Senior High School.
The event was jointly sponsored by the Huangpi District Culture and Tourism Bureau (Huangpi District Sports Bureau) and the Huangpi District Education Bureau, undertaken by the Huangpi District Amateur Sports School, and co-organized by Wuhan Youth Sports Reserve Talent (Taekwondo) Base, Huangpi District Taekwondo Association, Kangli Senior High School, and Wuhan Wind Vane Sports Management Co., Ltd. Comrade Zheng Weiguo, Director of the Sports and Health Art Office of Wuhan Academy of Education and Sciences, Comrade Hu Yuepin, Principal of Huangpi District Amateur Sports School, Comrade Hu Donghui, Secretary of the Sports and Health Art Station of Huangpi District Education Bureau, Comrade Zhang Zhiping, Vice Principal of Huangpi District Amateur Sports School, and Wu Ninggang, Vice Principal of Kangli Senior High School, all attended the opening ceremony of the competition.
On the field of competition, the players were full of spirit, did their best, and used a series of difficult movements to attack the effective parts and score, and all the athletes ignited the passion of the audience with exquisite skills, superb skills and tenacious struggle and indomitable competitive spirit.
As a grand event for the competition and exchange of youth taekwondo talents, this competition not only provides athletes with opportunities to show their talents, but also provides more possibilities for their future career development.
The event fully demonstrated the progress made in the multi-structure training of reserve talents in our district in recent years, and also laid the foundation for the next step of high-quality promotion of the construction of the talent echelon of the taekwondo project in our district, and created good conditions for the comprehensive development of taekwondo projects in the three dimensions of competitive sports, mass sports and sports industry in the new cycle.
