According to Thai media news, at 10:50 a.m. on May 12, the Larenjiao County Police Department in Pathum Thani Province, Thailand, received news that a fire broke out in a warehouse in Na Mai Town, Larangao County, so it immediately coordinated firefighters and rescuers to check.
Upon arrival, it was found that the above-mentioned warehouse covered an area of about 1 rai, and thick black smoke rose from the top of the warehouse. The warehouse has a large amount of goods stored, mostly plastic brooms, clothes and car seats, all of which are flammable. Crews immediately launched a fire extinguishing operation to prevent the fire from spreading to other areas, and it took nearly 2 hours to fully control the fire.
According to eyewitnesses to the fire, the above-mentioned warehouses are all stored in a wide variety of products from China, and there were no personnel in the warehouse at the time of the fire. The cause of the fire was the explosion of the transformer in front of the warehouse, and the warehouse started to catch fire about 5 minutes later, after which witnesses called the police for help.
At the same time, after the fire, the owner of the warehouse also arrived at the scene, according to him, all the items in the warehouse were imported from China, and the damage caused by the fire is expected to be no less than 10 million baht.
