Recently, the Hangzhou 2021 Theme Garden Competition was announced, and the Jiangyangba Ecological Park "Wizard of Oz" created by the Qianjiang Management Office of Hangzhou West Lake Scenic Area won the first prize.
In order to celebrate the centenary of the Communist Party of China, the Municipal Bureau of Gardens and Culture organized the "July 1st" Theme Garden Competition to welcome the centenary, with a total of 15 theme gardens from 13 districts, counties and cities participating, and the Jiangyangfa Ecological Park of the Qianjiang Management Office participated in the competition on behalf of the Xixi Management Committee of The West Lake.

Since receiving the task in June, the Qianjiang Management Office has actively planned, carefully organized, and optimized the design plan, transforming the 2600㎡ natural flower landscape into a theme garden that is more intimate to tourists, and is in line with the style of Jiangyang's ecological wild fun.
In the flower landscape, a winding ecological garden road was made of waste wooden stakes, bamboo strips and pine scales, hoping that people could enter the flower landscape and feel the beautiful, healthy and comfortable wetland color space. At the same time, a lively enlarged version of snails and butterflies was made with hemp rope, wire and other environmentally friendly materials, and cute squirrels were placed on the trees, hoping to let visitors feel the interesting interaction between animals and plants in the garden, and experience the rich ecological and cultural connotation and habitat beauty in an enlarged microscopic natural world.

During the July 1st period, the theme flowers with warm red Martian flowers and the flower language as the mother flower were the theme flowers to express good wishes for the motherland and the great Communist Party Fanghua for a hundred years, and during the Eleventh Period, various types of sages were selected with ornamental grasses, highlighting the concept of ecological civilization construction.
Experts agreed that the garden achieved perennial low-cost maintenance, suitable planting spacing, and it was not easy to achieve a good ornamental effect in such a semi-shaded environment and the edge of the road restricted flower landscape.
Behind this beautiful garden, poured a lot of hard work and sweat of Qianjiang technicians, how to prune and maintain secondary flowering in the monthly season, how to restore the lodging of Martian flowers, whether the plot after the pine cone chrysanthemum in addition to the pine scales is to make up for the February orchid, is it appropriate to use the wood thief and the big buni wolf tail grass? Drought-resistant watering in the high temperature season... All planting schemes and matching techniques are well thought out. Plants are living individuals, and the flourishing of flowers is the accumulation of years of practice in garden research of the Management Office.
