In Liu Wei's view, the spirit of hard work and dedication, the never-say-die sportsmanship and the champion spirit of pursuing excellence and constantly surpassing are a valuable asset that is worth learning from every Chinese.

Subsequently, Liu Wei reviewed his table tennis career and teaching career. She pointed out that the professional training of table tennis has exercised her physical strength, thoughts and psychology, so that she has gained a strong heart that is calm and unhurried, and her teaching experience at Peking University has made her understand the important significance of the "three transmissions and three plastics" (spreading knowledge, spreading ideas, spreading truth, shaping the soul, shaping life, and shaping new people) in the new era.

According to the official website of Peking University, Liu Wei studied at Peking University Law School from 1999 to 2003, and stayed in school after graduating in 2003 to work in the Department of Physical Education. During his time at the university, Liu Wei also obtained a master's degree in psychology and a doctorate in education from Peking University from 2008 to 2015.

Liu Wei, who took up the teaching whip, constantly innovated the teaching form, opened the "Liu Wei Teaches You to Play Table Tennis" MOOC, broke the boundaries of physical education teaching, and led the Peking University table tennis team to win various awards. At the same time, Liu Wei also focuses on the combination of teaching and sports, and has written a number of related papers.
