Recently, iQIYI held a media visit meeting for young directors to create a reality show "Let's Shoot a Movie" in Beijing. Director Chen Kaige, writer Liu Zhenyun, actor Shu Qi, producer Chen Sicheng, special promotion officer Zhang Shaogang, and 6 young directors Hao Jie, Peng Youlun, Wang Luodan, Yi Xiaoxing, Desert and Hu Guohan made their debuts.
As a program aimed at supporting young directors and paying attention to film works, "Let's Shoot" is a program that highlights the original works of film, and young directors will portray vivid characters and stories in social life through 19 short film works through different styles of artistic creation techniques, presenting the ecology of China's film industry to the audience. Director Chen Kaige, writer Liu Zhenyun, actor Shu Qi, producer Chen Sicheng four top domestic filmmakers formed the "Green Lantern Society" to provide creative support for Hao Jie, Peng Youlun, Wang Luodan, Yi Xiaoxing, Desert, Hu Guohan 6 young directors to stimulate creative potential. In the program, 6 young directors will experience three rounds of competition, withstand the test of box office, word of mouth, professionalism and other dimensions, compete for the final "dream seat", and get the opportunity for iQiyi to shoot feature films.
