From August 15 to 16, the two-day 2020 National Equestrian Venue Obstacle Youth Championships were successfully concluded at the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region Equestrian Sports Management Center, which was also the second consecutive year that the event was held in Hohhot. The National Equestrian Venue Obstacle Youth Championships have been held for the 9th year, and it is also the longest-lasting and most influential national youth equestrian event sponsored by the Chinese Equestrian Association.

The event is divided into four levels: The Junior A Group 1.25m Individual Race, the Junior Group B 1.10m Individual Race, the Junior Group A 1.10m Individual Race and the Junior Group B 0.9m Individual Race. The Junior B Group 0.90m individual race adopts the time-based competition format, and Zhang Jiayi, a 13-year-old Hangzhou girl from the super-skilled stable, won the championship with the horse "lily657" with zero penalties and 79.43 seconds. Compared with the other three levels of champion riders in this event, who have won many domestic events, Zhang Jiayi is definitely a veritable "dark horse"!
Zhang Jiayi currently teaches lan chao, the famous national champion rider of dressage. But Zhang Jiayi's usual life and study are in Hangzhou, the coach and his favorite horse "lily657" are in Beijing, a distance of more than 1200 kilometers, so that Zhang Jiayi can not be like other children riding horses, usually leisure time and weekends can go to practice horseback riding. Only by waiting for a longer holiday can Jiayi wait for her horseback riding "opportunity".
Perhaps because the opportunity is so hard to come by, Jiayi also cherishes the time she spends with the horse.
This summer, after completing her studies in Hangzhou, Jiayi and her mother took an early flight to Beijing the next morning and rushed directly to the racecourse without stopping. After the end of the hohhot tournament, the mother and daughter have returned to Hangzhou for the first time, and Jiayi has begun to prepare for the new semester's courses. The next time you ride a horse, you may have to wait until the Eleventh National Day holiday.
Since her mother's friend recommended equestrianism four years ago, Jiayi, who was less than 10 years old at the time, seemed to have become a "pony fanatic" in an instant, and this child actually liked horseback riding! Jiayi can almost recognize the name of every horse that often competes in China, and it is even more precious to some foreign riders.

Jiayi's academic performance has always been very good, and from the first grade of primary school, she has been a class leader all the way and is very responsible. In addition to equestrianism, Jiayi runs, swims, draws, piano is very good, and even won the championship in more than 100 meters, 200 meters, 4× 100 meters! Like many parents, Jiayi's mother still pays attention to learning and does not let her daughter have special treatment in equestrianism. But since the fourth grade of primary school was officially exposed to equestrianism, there was a tacit understanding and emotion between Jiayi and Ma that old friends reunited. Sometimes Jiayi does not tell her mother about some things, but instead communicates with the horse.
Jiayi's performance after each time she goes to the horse farm makes her mother's friends also sigh: "Your daughter may not simply play, it should be real!" ”
As long as the day of going to the horse farm, the young Jiayi is almost the first in the club to go horseback riding. When the summer in Hangzhou is the hottest, sometimes there will be 40 degrees of high temperature and humid heat, Jiayi half a day in the morning riding, the afternoon to go to class to study. Every time after the equestrian lesson, a lot of water can be poured out of the riding boots, Jiayi's little feet have always been soaked in the water, and she has never complained to her mother. Every time you finish riding a horse, wash the horse, feed the horse... Jiayi had to do it herself, that is, she especially wanted to stay with Mado for even a minute, and almost every time it was the mother who dragged her daughter out of the horse farm.
Jiayi's mother is still deeply impressed by a picture of Jiayi riding a horse when she was a child: jiayi, a small head, next to a tall horse, from time to time shows a small head, brushing horses, feeding horses, arranging harnesses... Now that I think about it, it's all wonderful.
Jiayi's mother has high requirements for her daughter's learning, and Jiayi has been a student with excellent character and learning since the first grade of primary school, and as the class leader, she is also the teacher's right-hand man's "little assistant". In order to achieve better results outside of learning, there is no doubt that Jiayi needs to pay more than most children. Even when her classmates were traveling during the summer vacation, she was sweating in the equestrian field.

If what Jiayi initially made her mother feel was her love for horses, then it should be love now. And these loves are reflected in the frustration of dealing with frustration again and again.
Jiayi's mother confessed that this was the first time she felt that her daughter was so strong in her heart. Some media reporters asked Jiayi, who finally appeared in the finale, what did he think at that time? Jiayi said: After I went on the field, I didn't think about anything, I just thought about the obstacle route and how to ride the horse well. Asked by a reporter, "How did you feel to hear the cheers and applause at the end?" "When, Jiayi said cutely, really didn't hear the sound of the scene at all, at that time I was shooting my own horse, thank you very much for my horse."
Falling off the horse again and again, climbing on the horse's back again and again, constantly meeting new challenges; facing the complex and changeable field situation, making reasonable responses alone; and with sensitive horses, completing jumps or dance steps again and again - it is precisely because of equestrianism that Jiayi's mother feels that her daughter still contains so much "unknown energy".
Jiayi's mother sighed: "Children learning to ride horses is also a test for the psychology of parents in a sense. Because the higher the child jumps, my psychological endurance also needs to be stronger and stronger. ”
She said that she would not have any equestrian performance requirements for Jiayi, and she would feel happy. Jiayi's mother sincerely sighed: "Horses have a magical power, I think it is different from ordinary animals!" I really hope that more parents can let their children experience equestrianism, it brings subtle changes that only children and parents in it can appreciate! ”
