"The forms are confused, the data is wrong, the materials are not complete..." When he first took over the management of the soldiers' archives, Liu Xingyu doubted that he was not this material at all, and after being criticized and educated by the chief of the police section, he remembered the words that the old archivist Zhao Zhe had said before leaving his post: "File management is a meticulous work, or you must not be careless!" During that time, he ate and lived in the archives, checked the archives one by one, checked the data and information one by one, and finally completed the task ahead of schedule. "Soldiers' files are about personal fate, and mistakes cannot be taken on by anyone." Liu Xingyu often uses this sentence to remind himself, so he is cautious and cautious in the process of sorting out the archives, and repeatedly checks. He jokingly said that he seemed to be suffering from occupational obsessive-compulsive disorder, obviously checked the data, or not at ease, and then checked again in his heart to be solid.
Every year, before the soldiers' entrance examinations, their personal files are reviewed. In 2019, when Liu Xingyu reviewed the file materials of the soldier Xiao Li, he found that the ID number in his student registration materials was inconsistent with the ID number on the enlistment political review materials. If the information is not corrected in time, Xiao Li will not be able to take the exam. After knowing that there was a problem with his file information, Xiao Li was anxious like ants on a hot pot. He immediately contacted the police station and school where Xiao Li enlisted, and finally helped Xiao Li correct the file information, and successfully took the exam.
The position of soldier archivist is very sensitive, not only to be a good "waiter" but also to be a good "gatekeeper", and the slightest carelessness will make mistakes. Liu Xingyu always regards learning as the first priority, and "Responsibilities of Archival Custodians" and "Archives Management Manual" are his "good partners". In his view, only by continuous learning can we fulfill our duties well and build a "firewall" for file management. One year, a soldier was punished with a warning for violating discipline in his duty, and when he was about to retire from the army, he wanted to dredge up the relationship and remove the punishment materials from his personal file, and when he found Liu Xingyu, he resolutely refused. Liu Xingyu said: "Adhering to principles, resisting corruption and preventing degeneration, this is the true color of 'archivists'. ”
In the eyes of most people, introverted and less verbal is the image label of archivists, but Liu Xingyu is just the opposite. In the eyes of his comrades-in-arms, he was sunny and cheerful and helpful. In 2018, a Veteran of Heilongjiang was reporting on his hometown, because the letter of introduction was accidentally lost and could not be transferred, and he was anxious to contact the troops.
