Ribbon bird, also known as shou belt bird, practicing magpie, long-tailed bird, a branch of flowers and so on.

The ribbon-banded male has two shades of color , with a body length of about 30 cm with tail feathers , a dark blue head , neck and crown , and a white rest of the body. The male has two tail feathers four or five times longer than the body, resembling a ribbon, hence the name. The female is shorter than the male, beautiful in stature, and the size of a sparrow. In old age, the bird's full body feathers become white, dragging a long white tail, flying in the forest, so it is called a flower.

Legend has it that this bird is the embodiment of "Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai". In traditional Chinese art, good wishes are often expressed by borrowing the beautiful meaning of the ribbon bird.

Ribbon is a colored ribbon used by ancient officials to wear official seals. Silk and shou are harmonious, implying high officials and longevity.

In the blue and white porcelain of the Ming and Qing dynasties in China, the "flower ribbon bird pattern" figure is common.

The "Qi Mei Zhu Shou" figure on the ming and qing dynasty artifacts, according to the story of "raising a case and raising eyebrows", is painted as a pair of ribbon birds flying between plum blossoms and bamboo branches, with double "Qi", with plum harmonic "eyebrows", with bamboo harmonic "blessing", with harmonious "shou", implying the love of husband and wife, white head and old age.
