It can be said that He Xiangning, who was born in a large family in Hong Kong, is a veritable show of everyone.
But even in rich families, fathers are still stubborn and conservative about the education of their children, and men in the family can read, but women are required to wrap their feet.
He Xiangning has a consistent rebellious spirit since she was a child, she secretly studied, and if there is something she can't understand, she asks her brother, and in the long run, what she has done is known to her father.
Knowing her daughter's character, He Xiangning's father finally compromised, and in this way she became a girl with new ideas in the new era.
Later, He Xiangning refused to wrap her feet, scolding did not work, and her mother was anxious to do both soft and hard: "All girls wrap their feet, which is also for your future happiness." ”
But He Xiangning didn't care, even if no one married herself, she was determined not to bind her feet, and her parents had no choice but to let her go.
It was this experience that allowed her to meet Liao Zhongkai, who had studied in the United States.

Liao Zhongkai, who understands the situation in the country, went to Japan for further study.
The following year, He Xiangning followed closely, and she studied at the Japanese Women's Normal University, and like many young people, sought a way to save her motherland.
In September of the same year, He Xiangning saw his idol Sun Yat-sen at a gathering of international students.
Dr. Sun Yat-sen's speech on national salvation shocked her greatly, and her heart suddenly lit up: the rule of the Qing government at this time was no longer suitable for China, and China needed a thorough revolutionary road.
In this way, the three became good partners and established a solid revolutionary friendship.
In 1905, under the leadership of Sun Yat-sen, He Xiangning became a member of the Chinese League and the first female member.
After joining the organization, she actively promoted new ideas, and after returning to China, she held an important position as Sun Yat-sen's right-hand man.
By 1921, Chen Jiongming was dissatisfied with Sun Yat-sen's Northern Expedition policy, and the two clashed.
Subsequently, Chen Jiongming launched a mutiny and directly controlled Guangdong.
At this time, He Xiangning was very worried about the safety of Sun Yat-sen and his wife, and he did not hesitate to drag his seriously ill body to find Sun Yat-sen.
And Dr. Sun Yat-sen, is also very worried about He Xiangning's situation, and her husband has been controlled by Chen Jiongming, for safety, Sun Yat-sen wants He Xiangning to go to Shanghai first, but she categorically refuses.
He Xiangning came to dangerous Guangdong to rescue her husband, and Chen Jiongming used Liao Zhongkai as a threat to ask He Xiangning to tell Sun Yat-sen's whereabouts.

Later, He Xiangning also ceded the post of Minister of Women's Affairs of the Kuomintang to Song Qingling.
In 1928, He Xiangning went to Paris, and the two separated until the "918 Incident" three years later, when the two met again.
The two have been committed to promoting cooperation between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party and supporting the anti-Japanese resistance.
In 1941, Chiang Kai-shek created the "Anhui Southern Incident".
He Xiangning and Song Qingling, who had made great achievements in the war, learned of this situation and joined forces with several Kuomintang members to write a letter to each other.
Five years later, Chiang Kai-shek launched a civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communists, and the two were extremely disappointed.
Later, they directly broke away from the Kuomintang and established the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang to contribute their own strength to New China.

Until 1972, He Xiangning became seriously ill, and on her deathbed, she told Zhou Enlai about her last wish.
The reason why she asked not to be cremated was because she had an agreement with her husband Liao Zhongkai that she would be born with the same cave and die in the same cave.
After hearing this, Premier Zhou immediately said that the Party Central Committee must respect her wishes and do as she was told, and He Xiangning closed his eyes with a smile after listening to it.
At He Xiangning's memorial service, her lifelong friend Song Qingling personally eulogized her, and since then she has ended her legendary life in Beijing at the age of 94.
