On April 15th, the "Begonia Flowers Bloom to the Future---- 2022 Begonia Poetry Festival and Song Qingling Former Residence Begonia Cultural Festival" was held in the former residence of Comrade Song Qingling, and many recitation enthusiasts and famous performers and hosts met with poems, chanted classics, sang the praises of the spring era, and broadcast through the cloud platform.
In order to concentrate superior resources and work together to create high-quality projects, the 5th "Begonia Poetry Festival" and the Soong Ching Ling Former Residence Haitang Cultural Festival were integrated into the "Begonia Flowers Blooming to the Future - 2022 Begonia Poetry Festival and Song Qingling Former Residence Begonia Cultural Festival", supported by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation and the China-ASEAN Center, co-sponsored by the Publicity Department of the Xicheng District Cpc Committee, the Xicheng District Culture and Tourism Bureau, and the Song Qingling Former Residence Management Center, hosted by the Xicheng District Reading Promotion Center, and co-organized by the Shichahai Street Office in Xicheng District.
It is understood that the Haitang Cultural Festival of the Former Residence of Song Qingling is one of the cultural activity brands of the former residence of Comrade Song Qingling, honorary president of the People's Republic of China, which has been launched since 2010 and is the thirteenth in 2022. Every year in the first half of April, the two ancient Xifu begonias in the courtyard of the former residence will bloom, after the vicissitudes, the abundance is still the same, the "National Yan" begonia flowers are integrated into the spiritual character of Song Qingling, and the form and spirit are both beautiful and beautiful. Previous Haitang Cultural Festivals have used flowers as a medium, used literature to meet friends, attract guests at home and abroad, carry forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture, and tell the story of Song Qingling, which is loved by people. In 2018, The Begonia of Guxi Province was praised by the people of the capital as the "Begonia King" of the capital.
As one of the series of activities of the "Shuxiang Xicheng" brand, the "Haitang Poetry Society" focuses on recitation, has a variety of artistic expressions, advocates reading for the whole people, and plays an active role in promoting the construction of the Beijing National Cultural Center and the national first good district, vigorously promoting the reading promotion of the whole people in Xicheng District, and building a bookish society and the construction of "Shuxiang Xicheng".
With the theme of "Begonia Flowers Blooming to the Future", this year's "Begonia Poetry Festival" revolves around the three chapters of "Winter Olympics, Silk Road Flower Language, and Common to the Future". Well-known performers and hosts, including Hu Lemin, Wang Yang, Wu Yewei, Li Rui, Li Ling, Ah Zi, Zhou Yang, etc., participated in the activities, focusing on poetry recitation, combined with a variety of art forms, telling the touching stories of the Winter Olympics, showing the win-win results of the "Belt and Road" cooperation, and telling the happy life of the people.
