(Observer Network News) According to the Dagong Wenhui all-media report on May 5, the "Hong Kong Re-Departure Grand Alliance" (hereinafter referred to as the "Grand Alliance") was officially established in the morning of the same day, with Tung Chee-hwa and Leung Chun-ying, vice chairmen of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, as the general convener and 1545 people from all walks of life in Hong Kong as co-sponsors. On the 5th, the Grand Alliance held a press conference at the Central Center in Hong Kong, presided over by Secretary-General Tam Yiu-chung, and the general convenors Tung Chee-hwa and Leung Chun-ying delivered speeches respectively.

The Grand Alliance issued a "joint declaration", calling for adhering to "one country, two systems" and promoting Hong Kong to start again. The Grand Alliance pointed out that only by defending "one country, two systems" can Hong Kong have the value of existence and the space for development. To promote Hong Kong's re-departure, it is necessary to revitalize the economy and return to the rule of law, so that investors have confidence and law-abiding people are not discouraged, and call on dissident political views and different classes to work together to get out of the predicament.
