On October 13, Tung Chee-hwa and Wang Fan, vice presidents of Kunming University, led a team to Ganmei Hospital, the first people's hospital directly affiliated to the school, to conduct a special discussion on matters related to the joint construction of the first clinical college between the two sides. Li Li, president of kunming first people's hospital, and Zhang Shengning, vice president of Kunming First People's Hospital, attended the forum.

Dean Li Li introduced the basic construction of the Clinical College, expressed his confidence in the quality of the training of clinical medical professionals, said that he would fully support and cooperate with the school to run the medical school well, and hoped that the school would further increase its investment in medical education.

Vice President Tung Chee-hwa and Vice President Wang Fan thanked the leaders of the directly affiliated hospitals for their support for the work, expressed their views on improving the teaching organization and management work on the basis of the "Cooperation Agreement on Jointly Building the First Clinical College of Kunming University", and hoped that the two sides of the institutions would work together to solve the practical difficulties in the process of cooperation.

At the meeting, after in-depth negotiations and full exchange of views, the two sides further clarified the goals, tasks and work ideas, and said that they should aim at the goal of high-quality talent training, establish and improve the management mechanism in line with the actual conditions of both sides, and provide a reliable guarantee for the development of the school's clinical medicine profession.
