Q: NAVI advanced 3-0 and didn't lose a single point, how is the team feeling now?
A: Everybody was happy and we had time to watch the other teams play and prepare for the next stage. Before coming here, we also had a training camp. But I don't think BO1 for the first two games in the Major stage is the optimal solution, but the 2-0 score is enough to satisfy us because it means we still have three BO3 chances to qualify. Everything was the best arrangement in the game, we fixed some problems on the map and it looked much smoother than before.
Q: In the eyes of many people, NAVI is the favorite team to win the championship, do you maintain the same view?
A: I know a lot of people are bullish on us, but the whole team tries not to be stressed by this, and I know that every team wants to beat NAVI, but as long as we focus on the game in front of us, the game is played one by one.
Q: So now you're committed to not putting yourself under too much pressure.
A: Yes, we work towards the goals we set for ourselves.
Q: You said you had a training camp before the competition started, how was the training going?
A: The training session lasted about two weeks, and the psychotherapist on the team added some new lessons. Every morning when we wake up, the whole team goes for a walk together, and the same habit is maintained here, but the only difference is that our psychotherapist did not come to Stockholm with the team, but she was with us during the training camp.
We now have two counselors on our team, Gleb and Marina, and we're trying to develop a strong mindset. It's good because we've been together longer and we know each other better and can help each other in the game.
Q: Do you think NAVI is at its peak right now?
A: Yeah, I think we're the strongest right now, and this year was the best year for NAVI, but we don't want to stop, we want to get more. The whole team knows how to win every game, and we have that ability, so we're going to take it step by step now and extend our peak form longer.
Q: What are some key moments in the match with NIP that I can share? You guys got off to a strong start on Nuke and took down your opponents without bloodshed on Overpass.
A: At Nuke we got a huge economic advantage at the beginning, about four players had full money, but then the other side played very aggressively on the CT end, and the score was a bit glued. Before the Overpass started, B1ad3 told me to keep more throws, let everyone hold more groups, and don't blindly give heads.
NIP has been in great shape recently under the leadership of devices, the world ranking has also come to the top 2 position, Overpass is a chart that they often pick out to play us, but we have practiced this chart specifically in the training camp, and now we are not afraid of the opponent.
Q: What other teams do you think will threaten you in future matches?
A: G2 is in good shape, Niko personally has a good performance, and the same is true in training. In addition, Vitality still has a chance, and there is Gambit. Like I said in the team's vlog, after the Major shutdown for two years, every team has accumulated a huge amount of energy, and every team is extremely hungry for it, so none of the knockout games will be easy. I don't care who the opponents are in the knockout rounds, because every game is going to be a bad fight.
Q: s1mple is now sitting in the middle of the position, the presence in the game is very strong, what is the configuration of the team now?
A: Yes, because Perfecto is now a bandit in the position of a free man, I need to observe his screen to know his movements, and s1mple sitting in the middle can also allow me to take into account the dynamics of the main direction of attack, which is conducive to my analysis and judgment.
Q: Are there any teams or players that surprise you so far?
A: Entropiq, they played well in the first stage of major and also won two before the start of the G2 match, which is definitely not a simple thing for them.
It reminds me of when I was at QB Fire, my first major trip was also full of passion, and the coach on their team, Hoch, was experienced and the coach I used to be, so I was very happy with their results. In addition, I was disappointed by GODSENT's exit, I thought they could enter the Legends group, but they lost 3-0.
