In order to celebrate the upcoming 113th "International Nurses Day", vigorously promote the noble professional spirit of "respecting life, saving lives and helping the wounded, being willing to contribute, and having boundless love", and enhance the sense of professional honor of the majority of nursing workers, on May 11, the first "Five Heart Nursing Angels" recognition conference was held in the Xiling Seal Society Art Museum.
The theme of this year's Mainland Nurses Day is "Developing the Nurse Workforce and Optimizing Nursing Services". At the press conference, a letter to the city's nursing workers was released, which identified 50 "five-heart nursing angels" in the municipal health system, praising them for adhering to the "people first, life first", and always warming patients with "love, carefulness, responsibility, empathy, and ingenuity", relieving the pain, and jointly guarding the noble quality of the health and tranquility of the people of Hangzhou. Five representatives of the "Five Heart Nursing Angels" from Hangzhou First People's Hospital, Hangzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Hangzhou Geriatrics Hospital, Hangzhou Cancer Hospital and Hangzhou Children's Hospital took the stage to exchange experiences.
Gao Tianyu and Gu Xinyi, special teachers of the Art Training Department of Xiling Seal Society Group, donated the painting "Spring Mountain Reading Map" to this event to pay tribute to the angels in white.
The Xuanwen Health Union of the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions also cooperated with the Xiling Seal Society Group to specially plan the intangible cultural heritage oil paper umbrella painting parent-child activity of "Painting an Umbrella Together", giving 200 nurses and their children from 18 units of the municipal health system a beautiful experience of traditional culture.
"This 'umbrella' not only represents a 'protective umbrella' for parents to give their children, but also symbolizes the 'health umbrella' that our medical workers hold up for the people of Hangzhou." Gao Xiaoyu, director of the Xuanwenwei Trade Union of the Hangzhou Federation of Trade Unions, said.
