Extinctions are not necessarily true Some are still alive on Earth but not documented

The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), a non-governmental organization in Laoma, said that about 10,000 animal species on earth go extinct every year, doubling the number of endangered animal species.

The BBC reports that the WWF acknowledges that the exact number of species extinctions on Earth each year is difficult to count. The reasons are complex.

Some species were once extinct in one area and were thought to be extinct, but survived unknownly in other areas and were later discovered.

And this "resurrection" may have been discovered and recorded, or it may not have been known.

Since the first Industrial Revolution in the mid-18th century, the extinction of Earth's species due to human activities has become increasingly prominent.

Many animal species, such as the Icelandic auk, the North American passenger pigeon, the Indonesian Balinese tiger, the Australian thylacine, the straight-axlee, the high-nosed antelope, the Taiwanese clouded leopard and many other animal species have disappeared forever.

The endangered species list lists a quarter of mammals, more than a thousand species of birds and tens of thousands of plant species.

The Waldron Red Colobus, alias Miss Waldron's Red Colobus, was considered extinct about 10 years ago.

They live on the border of Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire in Africa and are characterized by the absence of a thumbs up.

This population of red colobus monkeys has a mild temperament and lives in groups, usually living in huge tree canopies in dense forests.

As the primeval forests on which they depend are rapidly shrinking due to human deforestation, the habits of these rare monkeys are forced to change and they are more vulnerable to natural predators and poachers, while inbreeding leads to genetic defects that ultimately lead to extinction.

The African Zanzibar Red Colobus Monkey is one of the close relatives of Miss Walton's Red Colobus Monkey and one of the rarest endangered primates in Africa, with only about 1500 of them.

Yangtze River Dolphin, also known as White Dolphin, White Fin Dolphin, White Fin Whale, White Fin, White Flag, White Clip, Green Fin, Jiang Ma, Yangtze Porpoise, Chinese Finless Porpoise and Yangtze River Puffer Fish, is a unique freshwater cetacean in China, which is only produced in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River.

In 2006, the white dolphin was declared extinct. It is believed to be one of the oldest freshwater mammals in the world.

Although it may seem less elegant than a dolphin' wandering appearance, its sonar positioning system is highly developed and unparalleled in the dolphin family: it can pinpoint the position of a fish precisely.

However, this superiority has become their killer, and the pollution caused by dense fishing boats, container ships, trawlers and various human activities has made the highly sensitive baiji porpoise unbearable and difficult to survive.

Caribbean monk seals have been found in the Gulf of Mexico, the east coast of Central America and the northern coast of South America.

Because their fat can be refined from seal oil, they are over-hunted. At the same time, the fish and shrimp marine life they rely on to feed is becoming increasingly scarce due to human overfishing.

As a result, the number of Caribbean monk seals plummeted, and the last sight was made in 1952 on the small island of Serana in the western Caribbean, between Jamaica and Nicaragua.

The Dodo is arguably the most famous and extinct bird.

Like the dinosaurs of ancient times, it has become a synonym for species extinction, a symbol, in people's minds today.

This duck-like bird once lived on the island of Mauritius, carefree and without any predators.

Later, humans landed on these islands. Humans and other animals they brought with them became natural enemies of dodo, eventually leading to their extinction.

The last dodo was recorded to have died in the 1700s.
