To this end, in accordance with the requirements of the editorial department of "Chinese Carrier Pigeon", with a serious, prudent and responsible attitude, we have conducted a comprehensive investigation and review of the whole process of pigeon racing, and the investigation situation is reported as follows:
Four points of doubt
After the majority of fanciers saw the record published in "Chinese Pigeon", they raised 4 questions.
1, in the whole process of pigeon collection, escort, release and check-in, will there be artificial or natural escape, private release and other issues, there is no possibility of fraud.
2, from the general rules of the city and the whole country to compete for homing pigeons, the time difference between the first homing pigeon and the 2nd homing pigeon is rarely more than 5 hours, while the return time of the champion pigeon from Shao Yuelai and the runner-up pigeon in his nest is 9 hours.
And they are all the pigeons from Shao Yuelai, the brother and sister pigeons in the same nest, such a big gap, it is difficult to understand.
3, some fanciers imagine that this pigeon may be a few hours after the release, because the weather turns dark and landed on the train from Harbin to Tianjin, and was taken to Tianjin by the overnight train.
4, there are also fanciers said that according to the data, the fastest pigeon in the world was the Dutch national race (800-1000 km) in 1985, the speed was 2346 meters, and the pigeons from Shao Yuelai were more than 110 meters faster than the Dutch champions.
Tianjin carrier pigeons started late in the country, and the quality of carrier pigeons is difficult to compare with those of brother pigeons such as Shanghai and Jiangsu.

Fact-solving
After investigating the whole process of The racing of the champions in Shao Yuelai, the above points of doubt were clarified.
1, The 1000 km final of the Tianjin Pigeon Association is an indoor pigeon basket, the staff is fixed, and each performs its duties. Shao Yuelai is not a cadre of the pigeon club and does not participate in the work of racing, and Shao Yuelai himself and the staff of the pigeon club in Hangu District, where he is located, are not present.
During the train transport, there were no problems such as pigeon theft and cage breakage. Before the pigeons are released in Shuangcheng City, the Harbin Carrier Pigeon Association strictly accepts and supervises the release, the supervision and release procedures are complete, the pigeons are inspected when they check in, and the timer is in line with the requirements.
In short, the whole process from pigeon collection to reporting is normal, and there is no problem of cheating and cage escape.
2, after the pigeons are caged from the double castle, fly to sunset, is it miraculous to land on the train, ride to Tianjin, and return home in the morning?
According to the analysis of experienced pigeon breeders, it is believed that the pigeons are released at 2 p.m. and the large flocks take off, and will not just land on the train parked on the platform. It is even less likely to land on a moving train while flying.
It is not uncommon for carrier pigeons to land on ocean-going ships sailing on the sea, and land pigeons are always looking for familiar high-rise buildings in addition to landing on the ground. Therefore, the theory that the pigeons hitchhiking is pure speculation and cannot be established.
3, the difference between the return time of the champion and the runner-up pigeon is not more than 5 hours in the history of 1,000 km racing. However, there are also cases of a day apart.
The so-called "Boma" pigeon in Taiwan is that there is only one bird in the prescribed entry time, and there is not even a runner-up pigeon, which is another example.
So the key is to see if there is cheating, if the possibility of cheating is rejected, you can't take the return time gap too much and doubt the speed of the champion pigeons.
4, the overall level of pigeon racing should take into account the strength of the foundation, but it is also common for a super pigeon to appear occasionally.
In the case of the Dutch high-speed champion pigeon, it is also unprecedented, and there is no one after it for a considerable period of time. Now that we have it, we believe that in the future there will be more than the super pole pigeons of Shao Yuelai's champion pigeons.

The speed of the winning pigeons in Shao Yuelai is very fast, and from the subjective and objective comprehensive examination, there are several favorable factors.

If this is the case, the 1,000 km winners from Shao Yue may have taken more than 8 hours to complete the journey. If it is calculated in 8 hours, it is basically in line with the fastest level of excellent pigeon racing at home and abroad.
Shao Yuelai's flock of pigeons finished flying at home in the morning, fed at 6 o'clock, and flew into the shed at night, and fed at 8 o'clock. The winners therefore have the habit of flying early and dark.
3, benefit from the proximity
In addition to the above two favorable objective factors, there is also a pigeon loft by Shao Yuelai in Hangu District, located in the suburbs of the eastern end of Tianjin, and the pigeons taking off from Shuangcheng City first go to the eastern suburbs when entering Tianjin, and the coordinates of the 1030 km distance are the central area of Tianjin. 5. Strict training

Morning home flight training, 5:30 to 6 o'clock to open the cage, forced flight for more than 2 hours. The cage opens at 4 to 5 p.m., the autumn and winter seasons force the flight until the sun goes down, and the spring and summer seasons generally allow the pigeons to nest in about 8 and a half hours.
Before each training race, he conducts 4-6 training sessions within 300 kilometers, starting from 50 kilometers, and rises sequentially to 300 kilometers.
In the 300 km training, the first group release and the second single release must exercise the physical strength of the pigeons and the ability to oriente the pigeons.
After such rigorous training, some of the dwarfs in the pigeons have been gradually eliminated and the best ones have been sent out for racing, and this champion pigeon is one of the best.
6. Careful feeding
In order to enable the pigeons to withstand the training of large amounts of exercise, Shao Yuelai pays attention to increasing the nutrition of the pigeons as he treats the athletes.
He never fed corn that had been mothed by insects, and he never fed a moldy corn. There is also a lot of attention to the menu of pigeons. He is a staple food of corn and sorghum, and is properly matched with some high-protein, high-fat grains.
Such as wheat, buckwheat, peas, peanuts, small hemp seeds and so on. It is also often fed a variety of vegetables and so on.
In order to strengthen the pigeons' physique and arrange for them to hatch their eggs for a long time before the race, without letting them vomit the pigeons, he is convinced that a good rest is often more important than eating well for a pigeon that is about to go out of the race.
For Shao Yuelai, taking the championship is his goal, and the champion pigeon flying such a good result, even he himself did not think of it.
