The third time: persuade Xiang Yu to divide Hanzhong to Liu Bang

After the Feast at the Hongmen Gate, Xiang Yu divided the princes and became wary of Liu Bang in his heart, so he divided the Shu land to Liu Bang, intending to trap Liu Bang in the mountains. If Liu Bang only occupied Shu land, then it would be more difficult for him to march into Guanzhong and chase deer from the Central Plains, because in the middle of Shu land and Guanzhong, it was the land of Hanzhong. Moreover, the terrain in Hanzhong is dangerous, it can be said that as long as Hanzhong is guarded, then Liu Bang can only trap Shudi.

Zhang Liang then found Xiang Bo and hoped that Xiang Bo could persuade Xiang Yu to divide the land of Hanzhong to Liu Bang. As a result, Xiang Bo appeared again, and he persuaded Xiang Yu that Liu Bang was an outlaw, and if he really killed Liu Bang's father and wife, it would really be a situation of endless death. In addition, Xiang Yu and Liu Bang were brothers, so Liu Bang's father and wife should be returned to Liu Bang.

And Xiang Yu unexpectedly agreed to Xiang Bo again, returning Liu Bang's father and wife to Liu Bang. In the end, the Western Chu overlord fell to a tragic end that refused to cross Jiangdong.

Liu Bang was also a person who paid attention to kindness, and he remembered Xiang Bo's kindness, and after he became emperor, he not only crowned Xiang Bo as a prince, but also pardoned the "Xiang" family and gave them the surname "Liu". Liu Bang and Xiang Yu fought in Pengcheng, and as a result, Liu Bang's 400,000 to 500,000 troops were beaten by Xiang Yu's 30,000 elites and abandoned their armor, and Liu Bang, as the commander of the three armies, could only flee from Pengcheng in a hurry, and only a few dozen people were killed by the guards around him. On the way to escape, Liu Bang threw a pair of children out of the car many times, and the coachman Xiahou Bao rescued them again and again. Xiang Yu's subordinate Ding Gong led the cavalry to pursue the Han army everywhere, and the heavens took care of him, and he actually caught up with Liu Bang, who at this time was like a dog that lost his family. If Duke Ding had chosen to hand over Liu Bang to Xiang Yu or kill him on the spot, then history would have been very different, and Xiang Yu might have been able to claim the title of emperor in the Chu state and unify China.

As a result, in a hurry, Liu Bang turned back to Ding Gong and said, "The two sages are not in harmony with each other!", which means that two talented and virtuous sages can harm each other, and Ding Gong estimated that he had not been praised by anyone in his life. It can be said that Ding Gong was Liu Bang's savior.

Liu Bang later defeated Xiang Yu and began to hunt down Xiang Yu's people, ding Gong relied on his original life-saving grace to Liu Bang, he obviously did not panic, it was expected that Liu Bang would not want his life, and even fantasized that he might be crowned marquis.

However, what he did not expect was that when he saw Liu Bang, Liu Bang did not even think about it, directly dragged him down and cut him down, and immediately asked someone to tie him up in the army to parade and show the public, and then openly said: "Ding Gong is so disloyal as a subordinate of King Xiang, he is the one who made King Xiang lose the world." ”

At this time, Liu Bang, who had already ruled the world, thought about how to govern the world, and absolutely could not tolerate disloyal people, Ding Gong was just disloyal to Xiang Yu, so it led to Xiang Yu's final defeat, and killing him was to make an example.
