The former residence of Liu Guojun is located in The Town of Shengci in Jingjiang, Jiangsu Province, adjacent to the Yuewang Temple. The antique gatehouse, Mr. Liu Haisu's handwriting "Hongyi Garden" three characters are powerful. The former residence of Liu Guojun consists of the former residence, the Shanyu Hall, the Jingxiu Hall and the newly built Guojun Hall. The whole building is connected by both a cloister and a patio, and several wells and several floors, which are dense and integrated. What left the deepest impression was the former residence on the left side of the gate, the mud brick tiles, mottled moss, the low tile room, an old bamboo bed, a spinning wheel, a loom like a dusty textbook of diligence and thrift, quietly telling the hard and brilliant entrepreneurial history of Mr. Liu Guojun, the proud son of China's national industry. A banner hangs on the wall of the old house, which is thought-provoking. "Ask me if I was miserable when I was young, and the tuition fee for my life was eight hundred." Three meals of wheat paste at night, a bamboo bed. Half a life's career is ten thousand achievements, and if you are rich, you will not forget the poor. Stepping out of the old residence, through the front yard cloister, we enter the "Respect for Self-Cultivation Hall", which means "dedication and self-cultivation". This is the code of conduct that Mr. Liu Guojun has adhered to all his life. In the solemn meditation hall, there are pictures of Mr. Liu Guojun and his family. Mr. Liu Guojun set out from the town of Shengci at the age of 15 to break into the world, and in his later years he returned to his hometown with honor, which seems to have drawn a circle, but Mr. Liu Guojun has been in love with his hometown for 50 years, and has donated funds to build education, dredge the polder port, and build the Yue Temple.

There is a frame of Mr. Liu Guojun sitting in the study hall, the photo of the room, behind which hangs a painting of "Horse" created by Xu Beihong, a famous master of calligraphy and painting in China, the horse in the painting is not a galloping horse, but a horse that drinks water with its head down, which is the epistem of Mr. Liu Guojun's feeling of drinking water and thinking about the source, and the virtue of drinking water and thinking about the source has continued to his descendants. His daughter, Ms. Liu Biru, always returned to her hometown to visit the grave or return to her hometown, and always devoted herself to supporting the economic construction of her hometown, such as building schools and running schools, establishing industries, and developing tertiary industries. Exit the shrine and walk through the shadowy cloister to the Hall of Tranquility.

In the middle of the living room hangs the words "People are not old in heart, always run with the party", which is written according to his handwriting, which is very eye-catching. This hall is named after Mr. Liu Guojun who founded the Shanyu Dyeing and Weaving Factory in his hometown during the Republic of China, and "Shanyu" is the best memorial to him. There is also an intriguing story here, originally this cloth factory was called Shanyu Cloth Factory, but Mr. Liu Guojun added a "Heng" word after "Shanyu" to remember his mother's education of him. I remember that when he was 15 years old, he was going to go out into the world, and his mother gave her son a "heng" word by comparing her textile movements, and she said: "Without perseverance, how can this ball of cotton become a yarn, and how can a yarn become a piece of cloth?" From then on, he remembered his mother's teachings and wrote a self-exhortation: "Day by day, not afraid of thousands of miles; Do it often, not afraid of a thousand things. The Present Sun Yu Hall has become a hall for guests to chant and taste, and the hall is decorated with celebrity calligraphy and paintings, which is elegant and new. From the Shanyu Hall to the Hall Garden, the spring orchid autumn laurel in the garden, the greenery, the flowers are fragrant, the citron tree planted by Mr. Liu Guojun's descendants is lush all year round, the high branches touch the eaves, and the two white magnolias are eye-catching, growing luxuriantly, and the canopy points directly to the sky. When the flower season arrives, the fragrance is overflowing, full of "white jade", crystal clear, as if to show people the noble character of Mr. Liu Guojun. From the Recreation Hall, you can cross the two sides of the box room to reach the showroom on the southwest side of the former residence.

The exhibition room vividly reproduces the historical records of Mr. Liu Guojun, a famous industrialist and patriot in various periods, and the surrounding window records his entrepreneurial process with detailed historical materials, and the inscriptions of lu Dingyi, Hu Ziang, Liu Jingji and other leading comrades are hung on the walls, full of admiration and nostalgia for him. In order to compete with Japanese businessmen, Mr. Liu Guojun was the first to produce velvet and corduroy in China, and also created a brand-name product that greatly annoyed Japanese businessmen. In the spring of 1950, shortly after the liberation of the whole country, Mr. Liu Guojun, who was homesick and patriotic, broke through many obstacles and resolutely returned to the mainland of the motherland from Hong Kong to devote himself to the fiery socialist construction. A few tens of meters east of the showroom, there is the "Guojun Hall" that was recently completed in the new century.

In the center of the Guojun Hall, the 18-ton weight and 3.5-meter-high seated statue of Mr. Liu Guojun's White Jade Sculpture is overlooking the homeland he has longed for and loved all his life. Above the statue is Lu Dingyi's inscription "Cautious Love and Diligence". These 4 words shine brightly, which is the appropriate evaluation of Mr. Liu Guojun. The person Mr. Liu Guojun admired most in his life was Yue Fei, who always believed that Yue Fei's spirit of "being loyal to the country" inspired his career from success to glory, so he and his descendants built the Yue Temple. The story of Mr. Liu Guojun's homesickness and patriotism has been circulating among the people of Jingjiang and has been deeply admired. His children are also very concerned about the construction of their hometown, donating funds to build a library, a shengci middle school, and the establishment of a Mr. Liu Guojun scholarship fund, etc., which have been passed down as beautiful talk in their hometown. In his lifetime, Mr. Liu Guojun went from an apprentice in Benniu Town to a rich businessman, and then from a rich businessman to a proud son of national industry who dared to compete with Japanese businessmen, and then grew into a patriotic and socialist vice governor of Jiangsu Province, precisely because of his "good yu heng", precisely because of his "hongyi" and "respectful cultivation", and precisely because he loved the country and his hometown. Mr. Liu Guojun has left us a valuable spiritual wealth.
