So Liu Bang simply released all the apprentices and hid himself in Mount Mangzhong. More than a dozen disciples were touched by Liu Bang and followed Liu Bang into hiding in Mount Mangzhong.
Because Liu Bang beheaded a white snake on the way to the MangzhongShan, later generations called Liu Bang's escape to the Mangzhongshan "Snake Cutting Uprising". Although it was called an "uprising", Liu Bang was just a Fugitive from the Qin Dynasty hiding in the mountains at that time, and even Liu Bang's father and brother did not know where Liu Bang was. Strangely, Lü Hou was always able to accurately find Liu Bang's location. What's going on here?
According to the records of the "History of Gao Zu Benji", Lü Hou's explanation for himself to always accurately find Liu Bang was that there were clouds where Liu Bang lived, and he could find Liu Bang by looking at the clouds (there were often clouds on the ji residence, so he got the season from usual). However, Lü Hou's so-called "often cloud qi" statement was finished as soon as he heard it, and the real reason was not this, otherwise Liu Bang would not have escaped many times later.
According to the "Book of Han Fan Li Teng's Biography of Fu Jin Zhou", Fan Duo, the founding hero of the Western Han Dynasty and the Marquis of Wuyang, accompanied Liu Bang to take refuge in Mount Mangzhong (樊哙, 沛人也), who slaughtered dogs. Later, he and Gao Zu were hidden in the Mountains of Mangzhong). In addition to Liu Bang's brothers and the status of the founding heroes of the Western Han Dynasty, Fan Duo was also Lü Hou's brother-in-law, and the key to Lü Hou's dictatorship was Fan Duo's support.
According to the clues recorded in the history books, it can be found that the connection between Liu Bang, who was hiding in the Mangzhong Mountain, and Pei County has not been interrupted, so it was possible to oppose Qin in Pei County immediately after Chen Sheng's uprising. Among the people hiding in Mount Mangzhong, Fan Duo, who was a good friend, fellow countryman and brother-in-law with Liu Bang, was undoubtedly the best candidate to contact Pei County, and Fan Duo did not need to hide Liu Bang's position from Lü Hou.
It was precisely because of Fan Duo's help that Lü Hou was able to accurately find Liu Bang hiding in the Mangyan Mountains every time. As for the so-called "clouds often in the residence of Ji", it is likely that liu bang and Lü Hou deliberately made up the "imperial myth", or it may be a "historical story" made up by Sima Qian.
