On May 6, 2014, the classic play "On the Bottom" of the Gorky Model Art Theater in Moscow premiered at the Tianjin Grand Theatre, a legendary realist technique that restores Russia a hundred years ago.

The premiere of "At the Bottom" in 1902 was a great success, starring Stanislavsky, the founder of the Russian theatrical performance system, and since then, the play has become a masterpiece of Gorky's exemplary art theatre.
On December 18, 1902, "On the Bottom" premiered at the Moscow Art Theatre with great success. Stanislavsky, the founder of the Russian theatrical performance system, personally directed and played the tramp Satin in the play. Since Xia Yan first translated "The Bottom Layer" in 1930, more than a dozen Chinese translations have been published since then, and in 1946, the play was put on the stage by Jiao Juyin, which shook the literary and art circles in Beiping. Later, Kolding adapted it into the movie "Nightclub", directed by the famous director Huang Zuolin. Mao Dun once wrote an article commenting: "'Nightclub' has its practical significance in today's Chinese society...
