In November 2020, in order to enhance the water environment of the future science and technology city, Beijing Enterprises Water released 200,000 river mussels in the channels of Xinqiao Port and Hongwei Port, and gradually purified the water body by making full use of aquatic plants and river mussels to build biological chains through biological chain targeting water control technology. After several months of treatment, the water quality of the main sections of Xinqiao Port and Hongwei Port has continued to improve, and the targeted treatment technology of the biological chain dominated by river mussels has played an important role, and the treatment effect is remarkable.
