Today (June 16) Total War officially released the latest promotional film "Achilles" in the new series "Total War Legends: Troy" developed by CREATIVE ASSEMBLY.
Achilles, the head of the demigod heroes depicting the Trojan War in Homer's epic poem The Iliad, the son of Thetis, the goddess of the sea, and perius, the mortal hero. After Achilles participated in the Trojan War, it took only two battles to tilt the originally stale battle situation to the Greek army and killed Troy's chief general, Hector.
Based on the romantic and bloody Homeric epic Iliad, Total War Saga: Troy focuses on the historical moments of the Trojan War and presents the great war vividly in a way that has never been seen before. This epic battle will be unfolded from both The Greek and Trojan sides, unveiling myths and legends, tracing back to the roots and exploring possible truths.
Total War Saga: Troy will go on sale on August 13, landing on epic and getting free on the day of its launch.
